Suspension of elections during war is not unusual. As has been pointed out here many times, Britain did the same thing during WWII. Nor is Zelinky a dictator. He governs with the elected parliament. And given the illegitimacy of Putin’s election, it is pretty rich to question Zelinsky’s position.
They could have had elections but instead Zelensky stayed in power. That’s not a president - that’s a dictator.
