Both sides have drones and other weapons, but one side never had enough troops and things have gotten much worse on that front for Ukraine as Russia is adding troops faster than they die and get wounded. Ukraine can’t even rotate troops for rest, there are no replacement troops.

Spent some time watching videos today. The Kursk incursion has slowed while the lines to the south show signs of Ukr weakness. Many towns have fallen in the last few days.
Also said average age of Ukr front line troops there like 50 years old now, I think they have moved their younger/experienced troops towards Kursk.
Basically Russia is playing a new chess move: The KURSK Gambit. Let Ukr capture territory and mostly useless ground in the north while Russia takes fortified towns south.
