Did everyone get their fill of 'joy' over the past four days of the Democratic National Convention? What was your most joyful moment? Was it the constant demonizing of (and lying about) Donald Trump? Or maybe it was the gleeful way in which Democrats celebrated abortion, even having a Planned Parenthood bus administering abortions outside the United Center, with no questions asked? We thought millionaire Michelle Obama lecturing Americans about 'not taking too much' was extremely joyous. As was billionaire Oprah Winfrey complaining about all of her experiences with 'income inequality.'

General Dynamics used a government “recommended” consultant firm to help them qualify for their award fees. Award fees are an incentive to produce on time and budget, but also considered in the mix is the company’s compliance with other contractual obligations on “outreach” to LBGT, ESG and DEI. This particular consultant, along with hosting employee awareness, supplied posters. The poster sticking in my mind was a circle of handless, footless gummy-looking figures floating in a circle. They represented every possible “racial” color including purple, but not anything that might represent Caucasians. The print part of the poster read, “Strength and joy through diversity.” (I still feel a bit of bile in the back of my throat when I think of it.)
The whole consulting episode felt like living through a Nazi propaganda presentation. It didn’t work on any of the professionals I talked to. But I think some of the floor people were affected. Afterall, who could associate anything bad with the word “joy?” Thinking back, the word joy hit like the clicks from a metronome.

Interesting. I'm doing the same with Harris' new campaign slogan of "A New Way Forward" that she said twice in her acceptance speech. Forward has long been the favorite word of marxists going back to the 19th century and continuing through the likes of Lenin, Mao, Obama, and now Harris.
I do not think either of these words is accidentally used. As I said in another thread, a Harris win would be Obama's fourth term of working to realize his goal of "fundamentally transforming the United States of America" that he said on October 30, 2008. I believe they feel they are close enough now that they can drop the pretense and let their true intentions be known. That's why Harris went out there and said she wants price and rent controls, taxes on unrealized capital gains, and red flag laws.
You know, the left also claims that we're using dog whistles as that worm Jake Tapper did the other day about President Trump calling Harris lazy, but really it's them using the dog whistle by freely throwing around joy and forward. Well, at least the two of us are pointing these things out.
