I was very specific about her comparison to the death of Germans at the hands of the allies and a disbelief in Mengele’s experiments. She specifically said that Hitler was not the worst because the allies had killed more. She called that genocide. The quotes comes from a show she did which is widely available.
If you want to play devil’s advocate at least do your own review rather than basing your rebuttal on one of the very many places her words are printed.
I cannot understand the desire to go to these lengths to find and even create excuses for the things she has said and repeated freely.
I label your comment as unserious. CO most certainly said the things I quoted and I linked several audio samples. She is not an important figure other than the disappointment of many at the descent of a figure who appeared promising into bizarre, flawed and historically ignorant conspiracy theories. She is a particular target of the left because they label her as a conservative and thus attack all conservatives by exposing her.

I did not come to this thread to attack CO. If I see something being said that is untrue especially if I think it is important to protect FR reputation and MAGA I am going to put the facts before the FR community.
CO said what she said. She said it vehemently and repeated it in later interviews when asked. Holocaust denial is vile and enables evil to hide. It creates moral equivalency and that was CO point as she went on to claim that there were many other such acts and the Jews were just trying to claim victim status.
Calling the actions of the allies in ending Hitler’s widening conquest ethnic cleansing is vile. War is ugly and things are done that were wrong, some obviously at the time, some in retrospect.
Points of view matter in deciding right vs wrong and in assigning blame but “ethnic cleansing”? That is a gratuitous slander of the men who served, the men who died and a grief to their families. Further it is scurrilous to suggest that was America’s aim. CO mischaracterizes the intent, the actions and ignores the post war aid to rebuild and support Germany.

Post 74 is a fuller explanation of my point of view. I believe in freedom of speech & freedom to question established ideas. However CO did not question she made statements based on faulty logic, with lack of serious research and weaponized her faulty hypotheses to attack groups, in my limited review, Jews and allies in the war. There certainly may be others but I am unwilling to delve further.
The drastic change in CO mental process from a few years ago gives me concern that there is an illness or some other factor distorting her thinking.
