Sunday morning reminded us why President Trump selected Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) as his running mate after turning the tables on CNN’s Dana Bash when she tried to ambush him.
Determined to paint Vance in a corner, a hostile Bash peppered him with a series of questions over harmless comments he made years ago while ignoring the serious questions surrounding Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz. But Vance kept his cool and destroyed Harris and Walz while Bash pouted.

Re-reading bigbob’s post, my takeaway is that’s EXACTLY the point he was making, i.e., they both have their strong points.
Bash has that crazed look because she knows Vance is crushing the interview and she has nothing to counter with. They can’t even get Harris to come on for softball questions.

And if a SCOTUS croaks during the term, PDJT can nominate JDV to fill that vacancy. I think we could trust that he’d be a good pick (based on what we know about him so far).

Some of bash-trump material is pretty convincing. I’ve been emailing friends on both sides to stop talking about candidates, who all have their weak points , and start talking about ISSUES.
Illegals and the economy affect most people, even Dems.
He’s best in these one on ones and i suspect town halls. In rallys he’ll get compared to Trump and he cant match Trump. Keep sending him out to these fake news outlets to destroy their narrative to their faces. He’s awesome when given the right task.
Months ago, the first time I saw Vance on TV I wanted Trump to choose him as VP. Told a good Republican friend and he thought it was a good choice too.
Vance is even better than I thought.
He was very calm. She was as condescending and awful as usual.
Trump says it all the time. Not verbatim.
What’s good is Trump and Vance running with the theme “I don’t give a damn if you’re black.” In the past it would disqualified them. The left is running out of things they can hide behind.
I also like the message he sent about questions not being directed to kommiela.
