Call it preemptive Election Denial.
Rep. Nancy Pelosi picked Rep. Jamie Raskin, a supposed “constitutional law” expert in the same way that an arsonist is an expert on house fires, as a ‘manager’ for impeaching President Trump over J6.
Since then, Rep. Raskin has been prepping a bill that would abuse the 14th Amendment to block Trump.
Raskin, a former member of the Jan. 6 select committee, said he is already crafting the bill, telling Axios, “I’m working on it — today.”
Raskin pointed to legislation he introduced with Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) in 2022 creating a pathway for the Justice Department to sue to keep candidates off the ballot under the 14th Amendment.
“We are going to revise it in light of the Supreme Court’s decision,” Raskin said.
Raskin suggested the bill would be paired with a resolution declaring Jan. 6 an “insurrection” and that those involved “engaged in insurrection.”
Congressional Dems did not initially seem enthusiastic about the idea of denying certification to Trump if he wins based on their abuse of the 14th Amendment.
Congressional Democrats are showing no signs of using the Electoral College certification process to enforce the 14th Amendment and deny Donald Trump a second presidential term if he wins in November.
The Supreme Court’s decision this month to keep Trump on the Colorado primary ballot left it to Congress to act before the Constitution’s so-called Insurrection Clause could be enforced to keep him from regaining the White House.
But some legal experts have pointed out that the decision never explicitly rules out a scenario where Congress uses its power under the 12th and 20th amendments to enforce presidential eligibility requirements during a joint session on Jan. 6, 2025.
Rep. Jamie Raskin of Maryland, the top Democrat on the House Oversight and Accountability Committee, said the theory was just “dealing in a sequence of hypotheticals.”
But the hypothetical is becoming less hypothetical.
Based on this video, Rep. Raskin is quite serious about trying to abuse the 14th Amendment.
“They want to kick it to Congress,” Rep. Raskin complains. “So it will be up to us on Jan 6, 2025, to tell the rampaging Trump mobs that he’s disqualified and then we need bodyguards for everyone, civil war conditions.”
Someone will have to tell the “rampaging mob” that the election results have been overturned to fortify democracy. Right after the Democrat nominee was ousted to fortify democracy.
And then there will have to be troops in the streets as Kamala takes her oath of office to stop the public from interfering while anyone who protests gets ‘gulaged’.
The media and Dems might defend this as a “novel legal theory” except that they’re busy prosecuting and disbarring people even tangentially involved in using novel legal theories to conduct election challenges.
Before Dems criminalized election denial, they specialized in it. And if Rep. Raskin is serious, then their endgame strategy is to hope to take Congress and then rejection the results of the 2024 election, while using any protests in response to declare martial law and impose Kamala at gunpoint.
This is of course everything that they falsely accused Trump of doing in 2020. And if you know leftists, then you know that it means they’re getting ready to do it themselves.
The time to act on this ratskin is before the election.
He wants civil war. It is inevitable.
Then it will be up to the rampaging Trump mob to inform him that whoever he picks is disqualified.
As I recall —
Trump was hoping that Vice President Pence would delay certification of the votes, and instead ask states to check their numbers to ensure that the right candidate was being declared the winner.
Democrats said: “The Constitution doesn’t give the VP that power.”
Pence said: “The Constitution doesn’t give me that power.”
After Biden became president, the Democrats passed a law which removed that power from the Vice President.
In recent months, when asked how VP Kamala Harris would act if Trump won, she essentially shrugged and indicated that as VP, she would simply refuse to certify his votes and thereby block his inauguration.
And now it seems that the Democrats are calmly planning an insurrection. Because why wouldn’t they?
Let the voters decide.
Everybody has a plan, until they get punched in the face.

If Nancy survives 20 more years, she will be well over 100 years old, and more than likely, STILL plotting, pleading and pushing to destroy the United States as it was always meant to be.

If anything, Raskin is even more detestable than Adam Schiff (and at one time I would have thought it would be impossible to type those words).

Well, if that did not kick off CW2, I have no idea what would. He knows it too ... I guess he is counting on soi boiz and the military to stand up to the well armed militia. Not sure how much the military would be down with this however. Maybe he could borrow the Cuban Black Wasps that are trying to keep Maduro in power ... heard they already gulaged 2200.
That would really be a coup ... the Dem “winner” was not voted upon (not one primary vote), and the Rep “winner” was voted for and won, but is disqualified by the government. Talk about a civil war! That is no different than Sadam’s Iraq.

Reminds me of the camps for dissidents behind piano wire that the communists built in the movie Red Dawn 41 years ago. Seemed inconceivable then, now no longer.
What bothers me to no end is that Democrats can say just about anything with impunity and no fear of consequences.
It’s well past time Democrats feel consequences. However, that will never happen as long as RINOS keep sucking Democrat Ass. It needs to be RINO Season this November!!!!!
Not that Raskin cares, but the Constitution is pretty clear about not punishing someone without due process of law. No matter what label you put on Jan 6, 2020: If Trump, or anyone else for that matter, is not charged and convicted in a jury trial of insurrection (assuming there is a law defining a crime), one cannot be punished for insurrection.
