Call me skeptical. How one answers a poll and how one votes is not the same thing.

Tribal mentality -- ingrained hatred for what's perceived as the Christian and/or white man's party -- selfish interest aka desire for freebees , are not easily changed tendencies.

I would have asked them if they were able to get IDs - b/c according to the Democrat party, many blacks and other POCs have a difficult time accessing IDs which is why they push for “no ID to vote.”

I don't either. But I think there's another dynamic going on here ... blacks who've never voted who are now energized by Trump.

Most black and white citizens care more about 'competence' to be President - than 'color' of the candidate. It's why black and white democrats and others started to reject Biden when it was obvious he wasn't up to the job. It's also why Obama was elected by both black and white voters. Few citizens rejected Biden BECAUSE he was white anymore than few citizens would vote for Harris because she's 'black'.

The fact a MSNBC 'journalist' thought black people would vote based on skin color is insulting to citizens in the black community.

I thought the DNC was holding a virtual nomination on August 1, 2024 in order to make sure they have a candidate on the ballot in a few states that have deadlines for candidate names before the end of the DNC convention.
