Thanks for the link.
“The first eight rounds had similar acoustic characteristics and originated from the same location. Beck said”
Would CBS/MSN have it any other way?
In a coordinated plan, a second shooter, knowing what weapon the patsy was going to use, would use the same. Said second shooter, to maintain a credible ruse, would fire from an opening in the building behind the patsy. Similar acoustics, almost the same location (but different charges behind the bullets).
It’s possible that the dead murderer was the only one shooting: 3 bullets in his clip topped off with new bullets from a different lot, which he just happened to shoot with a different cadence. But the single murderer coincidence theory paints the SS as unbelievably incompetent. They failed to stop him accessing such a likely location, and they failed to dispatch him to eternity until he was probably already incapacitated by a local LE).
Alternately, and I’ll grant - equally unbelievable, the SS managers were complicit in a conspiracy to blow Trump’s head off in full view of CNN and NYT cameras who just happened to be there.
So it’s a choice of what’s most unbelievable: the coincidence theory of incompetence, or the conspiracy theory of evil.
The building behind Crooks was 2 story, with many windows, and many rooms I’m sure. The pro got off 3 shots, one hitting Trump’s ear. That was the signal for the patsy Crooks to fire, distracting all attention to him. The wannabe fired erratically by comparison to the pro - he may have hit the fireman.
What would the autopsy report show. Shot in the head. Now he’s dead.
.
Thanks.
The team everyone in the media attributed the kill shot to (on steeper roof) had Secret Service emblazoned under Police (it’s harder to see).
Their sight was obstructed by trees supposedly, and common sense tells us that a sniper at rallies is trained to not shoot when he can’t see the target.
Maybe we’re catching them in more lies.
That was what I was thinking. Why they didn’t want to disclose three, I don’t know.
Thank you.
One cell phone and one remote control keyed detonator- so stated on the body cam video supplied to/through Sen. Grassley. The full video includes the pocket search with audio as to contents : “ range finder, remote control 12 key, cell phone”...
And, includes the more (or less) shell casing count.
It is worth the watch especially slowed down for certain sections- like the sharing of sniper photos of Crooks with the Secret Service red tied guy, as well as full view of the TIME signature on the SS guy’s phone— 7:07 PM (matched to MIL-time on the Beaver County body cam video 19:07. A confirm of sorts in that regard). Also- brief full view of both of Crooks’ legs/feet showing no, from that vantage point, destruction of lower legs or feet, and possible entry hole on right upper leg just above knee cap.
Y’all take time on this. There is another very well done video by “Guided” from his brother’s observation of the location of the real SS sniper team in wooden bleachers (under cover) with diagram of the 358 yard direct shot to a 9-inch target to take out Crooks.
Jumping to conclusions means missing salient points.
If the mystery pro is on the bldg behind the shooter’s nest and on that taller section, then when ne fires and Trump turns, Trump gets it square in the face.
Whatever
“The pro got off 3 shots, one hitting Trump’s ear. That was the signal for the patsy Crooks to fire, distracting all attention to him.”
And no one saw the “pro” climb onto the roof to put his ejected casings near Crooks’ body ...
Turning enough to line his temple and ear up with the dead shooter was a little uncomfortable, I'd say, but if he only lined his temple and ear up with one of the windows, it was less uncomfortable for his neck. So it's actually more probable, as fate would have it, that he would comfortably line up with the windows than with the visible shooter.
Trump also lifted his chin as the bullet approached. He may have done that to improve his peripheral and stereo vision of the jumbo screen, and in so doing incrementally improved the odds of the impact being non-fatal.
You’re very welcome!
She should get an award for this video.
We can see the crowd in front of President Trump. They have not budged one bit. 100% Patriots were present. All have real backbones.
I get chills watching this video.
How much time elapsed before there was a claim of eight shell casings near Crooks' body supplanted the notice of five? A pro would have known how to blend in. But there's a lot of video out there. That pro can't get too comfortable.
“A pro would have known how to blend in. “
A pro wouldn’t have missed with three shots ...

Forensic analysis suggests at least 2 weapons were fired at Trump rally
After receiving new footage from the July 13 assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump, forensic audio analysis has adjusted the count of shots fired from different weapons at the rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Forensic analysis suggests that at least two weapons were fired at the rally — including at least one apparently fired as part of the response by law enforcement officials. The first eight shots were consistent with the alleged weapon and the final two shots were emitted by one or two “same or similar” weapon, per audio analysis by Catalin Grigoras, director of the National Center for Media Forensics at the University of Colorado in Denver, and Cole Whitecotton, a senior professional research associate at the same institution.
CNN has previously reported that Butler police fired a weapon in addition to the shooter and US Secret Service.
Their analysis was updated July 26 after receiving new access to raw footage of the assassination attempt.
The FBI said that the shooter acted alone.
Audio analysis has also confirmed that the gunman was about 360 to 393 feet from the podium, according to forensics expert Robert Maher.
This conclusion aligns with CNN’s analysis that the gunman was on a rooftop 393 to 492 feet from the podium when shots rang out.
The shots exemplify a “crack-pop” sequence, typical when a supersonic bullet passes a microphone, before the “arrival of the corresponding muzzle blast sound,” Maher, who teaches audio forensics at Montana State University, told CNN.
The time between these markers places the shooter 110 to 120 meters from the microphone, Maher said, assuming the bullet is moving at an average speed of 800 to 1,000 meters per second, the equivalent of 2,600 to 3,280 feet per second.
This post was originally published July 15. It was updated July 26 with additional forensic analysis.
CNN’s Hannah Rabinowitz, Evan Perez, and Ryan Young contributed reporting.
Please note the difference between the original forensic expert analysis reported by CNN and the updated forensic analysis. And remember, Kamala was never the border czar.
Forensic analysis suggests that as many as three weapons were fired at the Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on Saturday.
The FBI said Sunday that the shooter acted alone.
The first three shots were consistent with alleged weapon A, the next five were consistent with alleged weapon B, and the final “acoustic impulse” was emitted by a possible weapon C, per audio analysis by Catalin Grigoras, director of the National Center for Media Forensics at the University of Colorado in Denver, and Cole Whitecotton, Senior Professional Research Associate at the same institution.

No one disputes that. No one is suggesting that Crooks shot himself. Don't conflate "shooters" with "assassins."
