The FBI wants to question President Trump to determine whether he was hit by a bullet on July 13 at his Butler, Pennsylvania rally, according to The New York Times.
The FBI is examining bullet fragments found at the Butler rally to determine whether Trump’s ear was hit by shrapnel, according to The Times.
On July 13 President Trump was grazed in the ear after a 20-year-old gunman named Thomas Matthew Crooks climbed on a roof and took several shots at Trump and rallygoers in Butler.

What a bunch of crap. This is a distraction from the mounting evidence of negligence or a state sponsored hit on Trump.
The Bee should sue for intellectual property theft, making a living sounding as incompetent as only the Bee knows how to make people sound incompetent.
The DOJ will soon be indicting him for instigating the assassination attempt.
Does the military require an extensive investigation, and interview with a potential recipient of The Purple Heart before a citation and medal can be issued?

Instead of examining evidence at the site and the kids home and grilling the parents and checking his phones and online accounts, they want to examine Trump. Did you really get hit with a bullet? We’re not sure a gun was actually fired that day.

It wasn’t negligence..negligence is f*cking up once or twice, not 20 times..Even the city commissioner who came a day prior to the rally said she was concerned about how lax it seemed, like no one cared..no one asked for her ID, nothing..this was a hit, they knew, they wanted Trump to get his head blown off on TV that was the plan

What is the point of splitting hairs? An assassin came within a hair's breadth from murdering President Trump. That fact is greatly more significant than the subtle nuance of the injury he sustained.
It is possible - but unlikely - that one (or even two) spectators were hit by one bullet that shattered, and a bullet fragment continued to Trump's ear.
However, then we need to ask why no one else was hit by bullet fragments?
My own perception - Crooks made a clean profile shot at the right side of Trump's head at the same moment Trump suddenly and sharply turned his head to the right, which resulted in a grazing wound to his ear.
There was no structure between the shooter and Trump.
What possibly could have happened to generate shrapnel when there was nothing there?
The podium was on Trump’s left side. There was 40 feet of airspace on his right side.
And this guy is the head of the FBI?
