Former Republican House Speaker Newt Gingrich said Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign could be derailed if she picks Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro as her running mate.
During an appearance on “The Ingraham Angle” with Fox News host Laura Ingraham, Gingrich discussed the potential running mate picks floated for Harris and highlighted the issues of choosing Shapiro.

I think it will be senator Kelly from Arizona.
At the convention which is when McCain did and was always the tradition. Trump announced a day or two before the convention. Kamala should do the same.
Actually, WHO would have joined up with “O’Bozo”, except Slow Joe. We know where all that has brought us!
There are millions of pro-abortion voters who like Kammy for her abortion without restrictions agenda.
Why would that matter? She’s married to a Jew and their Senate leader is also a Jew.
All of this is true but if Kamala were to pick Shapiro it would definitely help the Democrat Party pull out of the Hitlerian death spiral of anti-semitism that they are in. It was all Democrats screaming ‘Gas the Jews’ at Columbia University a few months ago. They need to crush the squad and tell Dearborn that their old world Jew hatred stops now. I don’t see that happening. They have fostered these voters and will not give them up. She doesn’t pick Shapiro.
Many of them are just rapists that like to abuse women and girls.
I’m gonna go with — it doesn’t matter. The polls have been locked in place for almost a year.
They’ve been locked during prosecution, they’ve been locked during debate disaster, they’ve been locked during assassination attempt and they’ve stayed locked during Biden dropout. Selection of VP is not going to move them, for either side.
Why is this happening? My read is when the parties had substantial %s of the electorate, there would be enough of them to have moderate factions vacillate and move the needle slightly.
But it’s Independents now and they don’t care about the policies being hyped. Don’t care about tax/spend, don’t care about abortion, don’t care about guns.
They do care about inflation, the Swamp and the border.
Those are not changing so the polls are not changing, and they fascinating thing about this is the people running the campaigns for pay can’t see it. Their whole careers have been about turning out votes for their own party. They have not yet grasped how small those numbers are now.

That’s true but she’s not concerned with any substantive or complicated issues and simply won’t talk about them in any case. Look how she walked away from her Border Czar responsibilities and her duty to preside during the Netanyahu visit. She is a vacuous drum beater whose only ‘talent’ is whining about other people.
She is incapable of doing any serious work, much less leading the nation. She is too stupid to be distracted by anything.

There’s a certain irony here too , because we are constantly lectured by the Liberals that we are supposed to be tolerant and celebrate diversity and all of that.
Being liberal and celebrating diversity, is supposed to mean being accepting and open, and tolerant of everyone, no matter how they identify.
Yet we see all this anti-Semitism within the liberal party which claims to celebrate diversity and which claims to be so tolerant of everyone no matter which group they belong to.
With what we’ve seen so far, it looks like Harris has nothing to worry about. Already the internet is being scrubbed of negative stories. Negative books about her are being banned by retailers. History is being rewritten to brainwash the public into believing she isn’t what they’ve seen with their lying eyes. Any contesting of the nomination is being blocked.
She’ll be fine and she’ll cruise right through the campaign and election.

So... if there is not going to be a convention for the DNC, I guess the planned riots aren’t going to happen.
So I’m guessing DNC decided to anoint Harris, in order to avoid an embarrassing riot optic in Obama’s “hometown.” How does that annointing process work anyway? She’s not an incumbent unless there are near future plans for the dummy.
My guess is North Carolina governor Roy Cooper. He has no path forward anyway. He’s term limited out. We have Republican super majorities in both houses of the state legislature. Republicans wiped out 4 Democrats in the last two rounds of elections for the state supreme court taking it from a 6-1 Democrat majority to a 5-2 Republican majority.
Republican RINO Thom Tillis is up for re-election in 2026 but Tillis is much more under threat from a MAGA Republican primarying him than he is of Roy Cooper being able to beat him.
The Democrats will probably hope naming Cooper will help them steal North Carolina. It won’t. This state is solidly in Trump’s camp again.
Who do the Independents hate more? What candidate is good for business not government?
