The world does not revolve around the American political calendar nor do rogues take a pause because White House aides and Democratic politicos wish a smooth coronation for Vice President Kamala Harris or whomever comes out of an open convention.
If Democrats cannot provide a strong commander because Biden chose a vice president based on race and gender rather than ability, so be it. Virtue signaling has a cost. Harris, at least, is cogent. She can make decisions around the clock when a crisis emerges.

They knew. They all knew. Including Vice President Harris. She has only two constitutional duties, to preside over the Senate, and to work with the Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment when it is appropriate. The most important of these two is the latter. Even the constitution provides for others to preside over the Senate, but no other person can perform her role in protecting the nation from a president who cannot perform the powers and duties of the office. She has failed in her most important constitutional duty, the one only she can perform.
Frankly, she should be impeached.
I don’t pretend that it wouldn’t have taken courage to do it. But if she doesn’t have the moral courage to do this, then she doesn’t have the moral courage to be president.
Her words about having the courage of what can be, unburdened by what has been, are just a line, an attempt to be inspirational, without any personal foundation.

Our Congress and Senate has the full authority under the 25th Amendment to form a committee to advise them of his status. They don’t need to wait for his Cabinet to act or Kamala to do anything. They need to man up and get to work.

What difference does it make? Biden was never in charge of a thing due to his mental decline. He could hide in his basement until natural causes set in and no one would know the difference. The same applies to Harris if elected, she could just sit a cackle away in front of a camera and the country would be run by the same people it has been since Joe took office.
This is all some sort of a masterly planned game show for the useful idiots.
I loath Kamala Harris. She is sane and not cognitively impaired. She needs to be president now! Joe has his finger on the nuclear button! He needs to go now and we can vote Kamala out in November.
Agreed. It’s a very scary time. Even if a covert group is, and has been in charge, right now they can make decisions with full impunity. They can blame the guy with dementia when Americans get killed. Kamala as Acting POTUS is at least conscious enough to know her name will be attached to any of these decisions being made. Whether she is actually making them or not. There are nuclear stakes to this stuff right now.
We need a conscious CINC. Even if she’s stupid
