Secret Service Director Kim Cheatle’s claim that the “sloped roof” at the Butler rally site played a major factor in her catastrophic security failure, which saw former president Donald Trump come within inches of assassination, was blown apart by lawmakers.
After visiting the site in Pennsylvania, lawmakers walked out on the roof from which the shooter fired at Trump.
After a thorough investigation, lawmakers obliterated Cheatle’s excuse for not stationing Secret Service agents on the roof.

I didn’t need to go to the sight to know that her “sloped roof” excuse was complete b.s. I also didn’t need to go to the site to know that she, and the FBI, among others, are absolutely lying about almost every aspect of this event.

I doubt that the director would go on site during the event. That sort of thing would be delegated, although she is ultimately responsible. After such a huge disaster she should have definitely gone to PA.

If I recall the pictures correctly, the USSS snipers were on a sloped roof of greater pitch than the killer’s rooftop.
