One often-repeated part of the official story is that a Butler County Sheriff’s Deputy climbed on top of the roof moments prior to the shooting to confront alleged shooter Thomas Crooks, and Crooks responded by pointing a weapon at the Deputy, who then fell off of an eight-foot ladder
Later reports claim that the deputy hurt his ankle and is now walking with a medical boot. Here’s the New York Post repeating that story nationally.
Key witness Greg Smith exclusively told the Gateway Pundit:
“I saw him [the sniper] right before he shots happened, and I didn’t see him turn around and confront anyone. I never saw that and it didn’t happen. We asked all the people around us and in our group and we didn’t see that. I heard the story about the officer falling and hurting his foot, no one saw that. I’ve heard the stories, but I have no idea what they’re talking about.” Explosively, he also relates that the snipers in the 2nd floor section of the AGR building were watching the rooftop shooter as the shots rang out – and did nothing!
“I was looking all around to get law enforcement’s attention before the shots, and I could tell it was coming, because as I was standing there for several minutes I kept thinking ‘why is Trump still talking?’ You expect someone to be on the radio or whatever the protocol is, to get Trump off the stage. I knew this isn’t good. I expected the shots to start, and then they did. It was mass chaos. I was looking at the guys on the second story, my eyes were jumping three or four different places, I could see that they saw him and were looking at him and watching what he was doing, but they didn’t do anything.“ Butler County Sheriffs Deputies have said that their body cameras were turned off and there is no footage available from the incident.

It was already established that these guys were way back in the room and not near the window, so they wouldn’t have been seen from the crowd outside.
Wouldn’t be a problem for a real sniper at that range, with the rifles they were using.
Everything points to the k8d as the shooter.
Someone was helping him, that’s where the focus shoukd be going, imho.

I'm not doubting this, but why isn't anyone questioning why these guys weren't looking out the window? What were they doing/supposed to be doing?

In these kind of Deep State crimes cases the locals are ordered to be silent or lose their job.
If they don’t get the message quickly they get a visit at their homes by men with guns who explain that their families are in danger.
I’m wondering if the guys on the 2nd floor did the actual shooting....

There was no “second floor” in the building used by the shooter. This suggests there were officers in the taller building behind the shooter’s building. Were these guys right next door to the shooter in a taller building watching this whole thing unfold?
Everything points to the k8d as the shooter.

There’s no denying he was involved, but was he the patsy, the useful distraction, the sacrificial sucker. Keep in mind the guy who did the rifle acoustic signature analysis says there were more rifles being used than the shooters and the one shot by the SS sniper’s rifle that took out Crooks. Rifle ballistic signatures are classic hard forensic evidence. That guy on the top of the water tower bothers me a lot because he had a perfect sniper’s perch.
Early reports claimed the boosted and boosting cops had both been assigned to traffic duty, heard about worrisome possible perp on radio, and on their own initiative left their post to investigate. If true they might not have been given body cams for the traffic duty.
Wouldn’t doubt it these days.

Do all video have the “sound wave form analysis” capability?
The TMX video, taken by a witness in the crowd, shows what looks like the entire event. It is very clear and from a good angle. It does not show Crooke turning around to point his rifle at an officer peering above the roof edge.
Looks to me like the cop made up that part. More likely, he slipped and fell before he got up there.
Who were the men in the building behind was/were Crooks...?

The Sniper Crooks hit Trump, if Trump didn’t turn his head, he’d be dead.
If that Cop had shot into the ground - Trump is whisked off stage and it’s over.
In my opinion, that Cop only planned on seeing if someone was up there, saw the feet, and went back down. Later, he’s asked why he didn’t do anything, and he comes up with this cockamamie bullshut

In the Rachel Morin case (illegal raped and murdered her in Maryland), a guy spent all weekend on TV saying he found her, identifying the spot, and the myriad of injuries to her body. Media ran it over and over. Turns out the guy didn’t find her and never saw her body, and had never been to the spot. He was doing interviews from his back yard.
