One often-repeated part of the official story is that a Butler County Sheriff’s Deputy climbed on top of the roof moments prior to the shooting to confront alleged shooter Thomas Crooks, and Crooks responded by pointing a weapon at the Deputy, who then fell off of an eight-foot ladder
Later reports claim that the deputy hurt his ankle and is now walking with a medical boot. Here’s the New York Post repeating that story nationally.
Key witness Greg Smith exclusively told the Gateway Pundit:
“I saw him [the sniper] right before he shots happened, and I didn’t see him turn around and confront anyone. I never saw that and it didn’t happen. We asked all the people around us and in our group and we didn’t see that. I heard the story about the officer falling and hurting his foot, no one saw that. I’ve heard the stories, but I have no idea what they’re talking about.” Explosively, he also relates that the snipers in the 2nd floor section of the AGR building were watching the rooftop shooter as the shots rang out – and did nothing!
“I was looking all around to get law enforcement’s attention before the shots, and I could tell it was coming, because as I was standing there for several minutes I kept thinking ‘why is Trump still talking?’ You expect someone to be on the radio or whatever the protocol is, to get Trump off the stage. I knew this isn’t good. I expected the shots to start, and then they did. It was mass chaos. I was looking at the guys on the second story, my eyes were jumping three or four different places, I could see that they saw him and were looking at him and watching what he was doing, but they didn’t do anything.“ Butler County Sheriffs Deputies have said that their body cameras were turned off and there is no footage available from the incident.

I’m wondering if the guys on the 2nd floor did the actual shooting....
They utilized over surveillance on the interior. People had to take their boots off and that was unusual.
I’ve been thinking the same thing. But there seem to be citizens who were watching that whole scene and I don’t think anyone is saying (in effect) “I saw a guy on the second floor with a rifle and he was firing in Trump’s direction”. So I dunno.

There's a world of difference between turning off your body cam that you are wearing (definitely suspicious) and not having a body cam (possibly suspicious, but also possible that that police department doesn't have body cams or has a policy about when to wear them). The fact that the author didn't even check his own source (or decided to exaggerate for effect) suggests he is negligent or reckless with the facts.
Something is very rotten in Pennsylvania.
Body cams turned off? Why?
I think the Comperatores and the families of the injured need to sue the Sheriff’s office into oblivion.

I am still waiting for an accurate map showing:
1. Where is the exact location one the roof of the body or blood splatter of the shooter?
2. Where is the exact location of where the people were standing and videoed the shooter crawling on the roof?
3. Where is the exact location where the cop encountered the shooter on the roof?
There are some other exact locations I want to see, but I am getting really tired of these pseudo maps being published by many different media in order to push their narrative.
Were a any spent rounds recovered from the stands or 3 victims? .556 ? What was the caliber of the SS’ rifles? Forensics?

There’s no way it went down as that Cop claims.
It’s a BS story all the way.

Training is to focus on the shot.
Simply give the big mouth a Polygraph.
No way. Those guys would not have missed.
He says there were other eyewitnesses with him to back him up. If that is the case, and they do go on the record, this gets explosive real fast.
Somewhere there is or isn't a cop walking around in a boot from the falling injury. And his family and others would know the truth of the matter. And there would be medical records that could be subpeonad. They aren't going to be able to keep this a secret if the story of the cop confronting the shooter is a lie. And if there were personnel with eyes on the shooter from the 2nd floor window of the adjacent building, the onus is on them to explain why they did nothing.
There is some sound wave form analysis from a couple of videos taken during the shooting that strongly indicates 3 shooters at varying distances.
Crooks got off 5 rounds and from farther away, the other two 1 each.
It appears there are MANY witnesses that the cop story is complete B.S. AND most importantly, they are willing to be named sources.
Trump turned his head at the last moment - I’m not sure if even the best sniper in the world can compensate for that sort of thing.
It seems there must be at least one video of the guys watching and doing nothing. So many cameras everywhere now.
