Even in this oppressive heat, I still see adults wearing face coverings. I was at a laundromat recently where an elderly man was sitting outside at a picnic table (by himself) with a mask on. It’s his business, of course, but he looked ridiculous.
President Trump’s would-be assassin, Thomas Matthew Crooks, has been called “nerdy” and a “loner,” but what struck me was that a former classmate who described Mr. Crooks as “a little off” also said he wore a mask after Covid was over. We were all required to wear them years ago, but those who continue to don a mask in July 2024 are a little off. It’s actually kind of creepy. Most people I know who detest Donald Trump continued masking up long after the pandemic was over.

Masks can work for hay fever sufferers, too.
The misinformed doctor is merely trying to make her “feel” better.
Masks can be useful in filtering particulates and pollen, paint droplets and the like that are enormous compared to a virus which the mask is completely ineffective against, even if worn properly (which most are not).
Before covid, did you ever see anyone wearing a mask? I didn’t.

It doesn’t work that way. The kid was a dork who sat by himself in a mask. Want to stop the bullying in schools. Get these idiot parents to stop raising socially awkward dweebs and losers.
I can count on one hand the times I wore a mask - even during the pandemic hoax. Fortunately for me, I am retired and I was able to order most things delivered.
Another advantage I had during the hoax was that I became so disgusted with my fellow man - both for their pathetic willingness to comply and for the raging epidemic of Trump hate - so I lost all interest in traveling, going out to restaurants and shows.
When restaurants and entertainment venues began to open up conditionally with weird hours, mask and distancing requirements and plexiglass shields - my reaction was that these venues could go f themselves - I wasn’t going to play their games.
What I found most disappointing was the way it ended over night when Biden stole the election and the Democrats no longer needed to keep Republicans at home.
It should have been obvious to everyone then that it was nothing but a scam - but no apologies, no admission that I was right all along - even many Republicans won’t admit it was BS - because that would be the same as admitting they were a bunch of weak and afraid pussies.
The only time I wore a mask was when I took my elderly mother to her doctor. Maybe 3-4 times?

The pandemic is not over. It may not be front-page news any more, but it is definitely not over.
Right now, infections, emergency room visits, and hospitalizations are up. The states with the highest levels of Covid right now are California, Oregon, Nevada, Texas, Arkansas, Florida, and Maryland.
There is nothing creepy about masks or about the desire to not catch a potentially disabling or deadly disease.
I would have in my doctor’s office, but I do not go there often. So, no. Maybe people did not think about using them before.

According to a classmate who was interviewed by a DC TV station, the guy who shot President Trump was one of those mask wearers, “even after COVID was over.” Another classmate said in an interview, that the shooter bullied everyone who was #MAGA. (His parents are social workers.)

Sadly, I see more young adults and teenagers wearing masks. Alone, walking, driving alone, outside alone... They brainwashed kids to be good little obedient democrat foot soldiers.
I never did wear a mask. I am now banned by Guitar Center, my ex-chiropractor and the Greensboro Emergency Vet.

When they were trying to put Kyle Rittenhouse away for killing 2 felons and disarming a third felon, someone pointed out that only one juror wore a mask. The persecution NEVER stood a chance.
Her doctor is one of the top lung docs in the country (and he’s a conservative). I imagine he knows more than you.
