On Tuesday's Morning Joe, NBC News law enforcement correspondent Tom Winter repeatedly cautioned people not to jump to conclusions about the shooter's motive. But Winter then proceeded to pass along this bit of anonymous conjecture:
"It is possible that Donald Trump—and there's a bit of a theory in law enforcement—is it possible that Trump was not conservative enough for this individual?"
So be cautious, people! But, there's "a bit" of a theory among some anonymous law enforcement sources that Trump wasn't "conservative enough" for the shooter. Does speculation get much more irresponsible than that? But anything goes, apparently, for Morning Joe to try to deflect responsibility from the left.

Scarborough used to be at least a facsimile of a Republican. What caused him to cross over to the dark side? The dead female staffer in his Florida office? Dissatisfaction with his prior marriage? The desire to plow a furrow with Zika?
But Biden was conservative enough for the shooter to donate to the Biden campaign. I guess he’s implying that Biden is more conservative than Trump.
His donation of only $15 dollars does not sound like a fanatical commitment. But maybe he was just a cheapskate and a lousy tipper too.
The Nashville girl shooter was nuts up one side and down the other. This guy was sort of like Andrew Kehoe of the famous 1927 Bath school bombing. The inquest stated that he acted normally and conducted his duties sanely leading up to his great crime against the children of his community.
Trump was conservative ENOUGH the shooter donated $15.00 to a pro Biden group aka Rino in action.
We have been told that Thomas Michael Crooks is a registered Republican, but there is a video on YouTube where Crooks addresses a camera and says he hates Republicans, and he hates Trump.
If Crooks was a Republican he would have to have been in the Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Nicolle Wallace, Steve Schmidt, etc., wing.

Perhaps the shooter hates Republicans because one of them killed an intern?

I think it’s more likely the kid was put up to it. First thing to check is all phone and net interactions a few months before he registered Republican and a few weeks before the Trump signs were put up.
