Teachers at Pentagon schools promoted materials that train students to be social justice activists and pushed diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) on teachers, according to a new Open The Books report shared exclusively with the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Department of Defense Education Activity (DODEA) schools, which serve children of armed service members stationed abroad, promoted materials produced by left-of-center organizations that encouraged students to engage in activism and pushed teachers to discuss “internalized racism” among themselves, according to Open The Books’ report.

Until all teachers & journalists can be assuredly non-partisan - however that mechanism may result - the slide will continue.

As it is, we are near bottom (one more generation and it may be genuinely too late).

When the entire unelected bureaucracy is run by Sodomites, it is clearly a judgment from God. There’s no going back

Trump will end affirmative action and all the gender, race incentives in the form of job quotas, schooling, small business loans, student loans. By removing discrimation against white men, this house of cards will collaspe.

During the 1960s, I attended elementary and high schools in Germany that were operated by the Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DODDS), and they provided an excellent education. But this was long before the DODEA was formed (during the Bush 41 administration).

Virtually every bastion of cultural power, from the school board to the Catholic Church is the object of takeover by the Left. The rest of us don’t notice until we are forced to because the rest of us have family, jobs and lives to live. The Left has only the quest for power. All else is subjugated to the quest for power.

If we just made it an Act of Felo0ny Child Abuse for ANY Public Employee to send their minor children to any place other than the Public School System for their Primary Education, we wouldn’t have any of these problems.

Folks,

Not all education happens in the classroom. Every day you encounter at least one person that needs a little education. Take the time.

Why do you think they hate homeschooling so much?

And this is exactly why homeschooling must become the norm rather than the exception.

“And this is exactly why homeschooling must become the norm rather than the exception.”

My father’s concept of teaching was to raise his voice in a threatening manner. If I still didn’t get it, he’d slap me. My point, not everyone is intellectually or emotionally equipped to home school. Also, half of all children are lower than average intelligence. I understand the imperative. It just isn’t practical given the lifestyle and intellects of people in general.

All of this, as it did in the old Soviet Union, will eventually implode. Unfortunately, it will take down a lot of good people with it.

A pack of lies can only be upheld for so long before it all caves in.

Low-Tuition Cost Private School Models

Many of our fellow Americans live in areas where leftists have poisoned the school systems.

TRADITIONAL TEACHER MODEL

My primary model would have about twenty kids in a class and a tuition of around $4,000/year/student.

Each teacher would set his/her tuition rate and maximum class size and handle student admission. Homeowner associations might host hook-up events for teachers, parents and prospective students. Tuition might be paid monthly for affordability and two months in advance (so it won’t be problem for the teacher if the parents have a major car repair bill one month).

Men and women who have good English and math skills but lack high-value technical skills might choose to become such teachers.

Teachers might provide their SAT scores and college transcript information to prospective parental customers. Independent certification authorities might thoroughly test the teachers and issue report cards.

Classrooms might be set up in commercial space no longer usable for retail stores because of excessive minimum wages or shrinkage.

A classroom might have four rows of five students each and might be around 1,000 square feet in size.

The curriculum might be based on a traditional state model, a current state model, a proprietary model or the teacher’s own handiwork.

PARENTAL ASSISTANCE MODEL

The Parental Assistance Model would have a parent of each child assist the teacher for a period of two weeks each school year.

The teacher would provide necessary training for the parents during several weekends prior to the school year.

Parents who don’t have the time or skill to fulfill their responsibilities would have to pay and arrange for substitutes. At 35 hours a week for two weeks at $30/hour with employer taxation, hiring a substitute might cost $2100. High-income parents would often seek low-income household parents to substitute, thereby helping the low-income household parents pay tuition.

PARENT TEACHER MODEL

The Parental Teacher Model would be the lowest cost form. It would have a parent of each child be a teacher for a period of two weeks each school year.

Parents looking to participate would obtain the necessary training and certification from a specialized training organization over about 100 classroom hours prior to the school year. This organization or another would obtain and maintain the physical classroom space.

Parents who don’t have the time or skill to fulfill their responsibilities would have to pay or arrange for substitutes.

PRIVATE SCHOOL TUITION FUNDING by SCHOOL PROPERTY TAX REBATE

To assist parents in paying tuition and to be fair to the parents, the amount of school taxes they (and perhaps the parents’ parents) pay on their residence(s) might be rebated.

Eventually, rebates might be paid for past year tuition as well, so if parents pay $8,000/year tuition for two kids and $3,000/year in school taxes, the $5,000/year difference could be rebated to the parents in the years after their kids graduate.

It is no longer possible for Republicans to reform systems at the federal level, so Republicans must enact state-level reforms.

My former neighbor Sylvia had to homeschool her grandchildren during the Covid scare.

She was not pleased to have had to do it.

The Covid era decline in student achievement suggests home schooling might not work well for most children.

I disagree. The COVID era decline in student achievement suggests that most parents don't want to homeschool their children. That is a cultural problem stemming from selfishness and messed-up life priorities, not a problem inherent in the concept of homeschooling itself.

It will be a different story when parents are faced with the choice of either homeschooling, or allowing the schools to turn their kids into little gender-confused rainbow fascists. At some point, most parents are going to have a "come to Jesus" moment when it comes to educating their kids.

My point, not everyone is intellectually or emotionally equipped to home school. Also, half of all children are lower than average intelligence. I understand the imperative. It just isn’t practical given the lifestyle and intellects of people in general.

Again, there needs to be a cultural shift where parents make a concerted effort to get themselves emotionally and intellectually equipped to homeschool. Hell, my wife and I weren't emotionally, intellectually, or financially equipped when we started homeschooling in 2005. But we decided that it was something we had to do. So we changed our lifestyle, had six kids, and focused on teaching them the classical virtues. So far, so good.

It's all about priorities. If you prioritize forming your kids to be virtuous men and women and great Americans, it can be done. Where there's a will, there's a way.

And the cool thing is this -- in order to form kids to be those things, you yourself have to become those things to an even greater extent.
