I believe the copyright on the Clemenza character has expired by now.

As someone who used to admin sites with content databases, I can tell you that people asking for a hard/complete delete of their accounts was aggravating. You look at them as simple posts and threads, but in actuality they are database records that are interwoven with very large tables, and simply removing them causes complications, particularly in relational databases.

I’m curious why leaving and quitting isn’t good enough. Does it really cause serious problems or harm by leaving your posts behind?

If Clemenza has died, RIP. Maybe leave his contributions to FR as is and just abandon the account or ask it to be locked, not deleted. Maybe update the About page with details of his passing, a memorial or something first?
