I'm so sad that Rush Limbaugh is not around to see this.

I continue to find it amazing that Rush has turned out to be easily one-of-a-kind.
Trump is similar in being extremely unique.

Agree, Paladin2.
Rush, Trump are one-of-a-kind heroes. Another contemporary to add to the list: UK’s Nigel Farage.

Yep,
Nigel did step up in the last month or so.
Good on him.

Rush
Trump
Farage
Reagan
Unique yes, but they can’t and couldn’t do it all alone.

Rush would have enjoyed so much the ‘Democrat Civil War 2.0’. Or is it 3.0. Or 4.0. The show would have been full of memes, jokes, new songs, parodies…and not to mention miles long lines of callers waiting to weigh in. Such fun.
The closest thing there’s left of the “Rush era” is Bo Snerdley’s Twitter account which I check occasionally.

Today’s civil war reminds me of Operation Chaos of 2008, the Hussein/ Hillary infighting for the nomination. No question Rush would have wanted Biden to want to stay and for the civil war to continue for as long as possible.

After Biden's recent "I'm a black woman" statement I thought it'd be funny to have a Paul Shanklin parody of Lee Greenwood's "Proud to Be an American" like (in Biden's voice):
"I'm proud to be a black woman. And I get my stuff for free.
And the men I woo and take to bed, pay no support to me.
And I GREW UP!, rubbing the lifeguard's blonde leg hairs.
Cuz there ain't no doubt I'm so oppressed! I hate the U.S.A!"

I always wonder if he’d saying that right now as well. He always gave me such hope for the future of our country.

Rush’s support of Free Trade and Bushie style globalism help to create this mess.

Maybe he was given control of the joystick.
That would be funny.

Rush lives on. Many of us can see the seams on the fastball now. Too bad there is no one to take his place.
To: Jeff Chandler
What's really sad is that America has to be going through all of this; the stolen election, senility passed off as "okay", an entire political party more concerned with party politics than what is best for America; the other party standing by and not even speaking up about the 25 amendment.
We as a people do not deserve America.

I miss him, too — still look forward to noon. For years I belonged to a craft group that met twice a week, and ended at noon. My half-hour drive home with Rush was special. (I waited until 12:07 to leave the building when he actually came on.)
He was smart and entertaining. He was able to point out things that were subtle and easy to miss, especially in the context of future happenings. I wish he had been more pro-active in serious aspects of the cause. Dan’s Bake Sale and Operation Chaos were fun but not effective in the big picture.
He wasn’t pro-Trump at the start, IIRC.

It was never easy for me. I was born a poor black child. I remember the days, sittin' on the porch with my family, singin' and dancin' down in Mississippi...
