Far-left Judge Juan Merchan delayed President Trump’s ‘hush money’ sentencing until September 18.
Earlier Tuesday Alvin Bragg’s office agreed to delay Trump’s sentencing set for July 11 after the Supreme Court decided on presidential immunity.

Judge Merchan said he will issue a ruling related to the presidential immunity argument on September 6.

The judge in Donald Trump’s New York criminal trial on Tuesday approved a delay of the former president’s sentencing after his lawyers asked for more time to review the potential impact of the Supreme Court’s immunity decision.
Trump’s lawyers have indicated that they want Judge Juan Merchan to toss out Trump’s felony conviction on 34 counts of falsified business records related to hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels. The hearing, previously scheduled for July 11, will be delayed until at least September 18.

I will confess ignorance in advance but has there been any resolution to that comment on the court website regarding a juror claiming the fix was in during the trial?
I agree that a mistrial might be the best way out of a trial that relied on immunized White House meetings and witness testimony.

I’m surprised at his decision. I figured with his great hate for Trump and lust to hurt him, that he would not delay the sentencing.

I think Merchan is afraid of what will happen to himself if Trump wins. Merchan violated Trump’s due process rights in numerous ways that are in violation of 18 U.S. Code 242.
Meechan knows it. Never sentencing Trump may be his attempt to not be held criminally liable.

Merchan was born in Bogotá, Colombia. Came here when 6 years olds.
Bragg did the same thing with NY state campaign finance law. The New York State Public Campaign Finance Board has sole jurisdiction over state campaign finance abuses.
