“We finally beat Medicare”
That is an exact quote. That is the moment many people in the country realized what the rest of us already knew. Joe Biden is not up to the job. This is why he wasn’t allowed to conduct a real press conference. This is why he needs notecards in every meeting with foreign leaders. This is why the Muppet does all the talking for him. Right away you knew something was wrong with Biden- the staccato cadence, trying to spit out the memorized talking points while they remained in his head, the confusion, the blank stare. It was all downhill. There was no upside.
As I watched I saw it coming. He hinted at it first and then fell right into it. He repeated the lie about Charlottesville- about Trump praising neo-Nazis. I wrote about this seven years ago. The NY Times and Politifact lied about it then and maintained that lie until just recently. Finally, Politifact, after seven years, properly branded the story as false. Biden’s handlers had to have known this and had to have told Biden not to say it. and still he went there.
He was wrong about Roe vs Wade. Roe was always bad law, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg agreed with that.
Biden asserted that those voting for Trump were voting against democracy. That would be at least half the country- voting against democracy?
This was inexplicable.
VIDEO AT LINK.....................
Biden said he was endorsed by the Border Patrol
When Biden said that Trump had “the morals of an alley cat” I would have responded “An alley cat? Your own daughter said you molested her. Care to address that?” I think Biden would have melted down on the spot.
But this was the moment it was over.

This from Jacqui Heinrich on X
VERY well-connected Democratic source tells me – the house and Senate are the GOP’s for now -everyone is freaking out – he needs to go – but no way they replace him unless he agrees
Tapper and Bash surprised me. Although they tried to save Biden a couple of times, they did a pretty good job.
Through the debate, the drugs they administered to Biden wore off. All that was missing was Barack Obama leading Biden off the stage.
Will he stay in the race? Well, let’s ask Jill:
OMG Is this real?
Please note that Jill treats Joe like a child at a birthday party, or a fading old uncle. Today at a rally Biden made clear that he is going to remain in the race. And he wasted no time going back to his lying theme.
His reelection cannot happen. America learned what world leaders already know- that he is a basket case. Biden is functional only when the words are visible on a teleprompter and sometimes not even then. He cannot process without it. He is not capable of fulfilling the duties of the Presidency. It’s Jill who is pushing him on. The stiff gate, the staccato speech, the inability to process – it’s suggestive of Parkinson’s.
Putin and Xi know this already. Man of us knew it long ago. It must not continue. The country deserves better.
I’m going to stick to what someone said on TV last night. Sorry that I can’t remember WHO said it or on WHAT show - ::Stupid people say stupid things.::
Lots easier than trying to find anything reasonable about what THEY say...
Clyburn has always taken credit for giving Biden the SC vote in 2020. We can’t expect him to say WHOOPS!!!
“We finally beat Medicare”
That one got me. I really cannot tell what he was even trying to convey with that one. I can usually tell something about what he was trying to spit out; at least the broad subject matter. Not this time.
A few seconds before he uttered the beat Medicare remark one could see his discombobulated stuttering brain misfire. Plus he didn’t even correct his disastrous remark but said it like he believed it. That was his kill shot of the night among many.
This is just silly. The split second reaction time required for debates obviously deteriorates with age. Political office requires slow burn rumination, not split second reaction times. If debate performance determined political viability, we’d be governed by twenty somethings.
Debates are a contest between rival sophists. In TV debates, though, affect seems like a much bigger deal than what’s actually said. JFK came off better than Nixon because Nixon shunned makeup, came off looking sweaty and unshaven compared to Kennedy’s matinee idol cool. Radio listeners thought Nixon did better, but by the 60s TV watchers formed the overwhelming majority of the debate audience. Thanks to his underwhelming affect on TV, Nixon went from anointed heir to Eisenhower’s era of peace, strength and prosperity to also-ran.
But we’re no longer in the 1960s, when TV debates were a novel phenomenon. TV audiences are jaded, such that a debate may be just a debate, without much effect on voter intent. Would the typical Trump voter have changed his mind if Trump’s performance had been abysmal?
The upshot of 6/28 is Biden’s affect was abysmal. A veteran debater had an off day. But all the policy reasons voters had for voting one way or the other remain. Is Trump less detestable for those who hate his guts? Is Biden less likeable to his fans? If anything, Biden gets the sympathy vote. For his fans, a lion in winter, but nonetheless a lion. If post debate polls are any indicator, the effect on Biden’s numbers were minimal, with a downtick of a point or two.

Democrat contenders and consultants not in Biden’s inner circle aren’t worried about the Democrat party’s future. They saw a chink in his armor and were hoping to drive a truck thru it for personal gain. Openings for presidential nominations, and fresh slots on their entourages, don’t grow on trees.
But so far, nothing has changed. Every one of them polls worse than Biden. He’s a conniving bastard, but generally regarded as a nice guy.
A recent post included an MD’s opinion based on observing Biden, but we all can do that and we all can read and see for ourselves.
“Slowed movement, known as bradykinesia. Over time, Parkinson’s disease may slow your movement, making simple tasks difficult and time-consuming. Your steps may become shorter when you walk. It may be difficult to get out of a chair. You may drag or shuffle your feet as you try to walk.
Rigid muscles. Muscle stiffness may occur in any part of your body. The stiff muscles can be painful and limit your range of motion.
Impaired posture and balance. Your posture may become stooped. Or you may fall or have balance problems as a result of Parkinson’s disease.
Loss of automatic movements. You may have a decreased ability to perform unconscious movements, including blinking, smiling or swinging your arms when you walk.
Speech changes. You may speak softly or quickly, slur, or hesitate before talking. Your speech may be more of a monotone rather than have the usual speech patterns.”
As far as we are able to see, he doesn’t show the characteristic tremor. But every one of the above symptoms is clearly visible to anyone.
If it was our family member, we’d be concerned and seeking medical advice. WHich of course DrJill has done, but has concealed from the public and lied about.
If Brandon gets anywhere close to 81 million votes this November we’ll know the democrats are using illegal alien ballots.
Biden’s verbal gaffe was bad enough, but then a lightning quick Trump pounced on it and used it to eviscerate ol’ Joe. The contrast between the two couldn’t have been clearer.
From the article: “When Biden said that Trump had “the morals of an alley cat” I would have responded “An alley cat? Your own daughter said you molested her. Care to address that?” I think Biden would have melted down on the spot.”
I think a better response would have been: “Are you still taking showers with your daughter”?
Yeah he did beat Medicare ... to death. Medicare Advantage plans are going to be reduced or eliminated in some areas and every one will pay more for less.
Medicare Advantage plans replace Medicare with added coverage.

I suspect he wanted to make a point about getting ObamaCare passed.
The medicare advantage plans have been shredded under Biden. He’s regularly taken chucks of it out and increases fees.
Bingo . Anything approaching his last fake numbers shows what he meant when he quipped at the end of the debate let’s see the votes. Almost like he knows the effort is underway
