As the Real ID program becomes mandatory for domestic air travel on May 7, 2025, Americans face a stark choice between privacy concerns and compliance, fundamentally altering the landscape of personal identification in the US.

Screw ‘em ... there is no place on this planet that I want to see if it requires air travel. And there is more than one can ever see just here in the lower 48 - all accessible by my ICE Tahoe.
You are a bootliker.
Photo ID to vote?
Photo ID to get government services?
Photo ID to transact business (like cash a check)
Photo ID to board a plane or train?
Photo ID to prove your age where relevant?
Photo ID to pick up certain prescription drugs, etc.?
And if a photo ID, why not use it as opportunity to confirm you are a citizen, which is important and key for many of the above?
And, yes, use it to ID people who are here illegally, who have warrants for their arrest, etc.
Again, I have no problem with all of the above and I'd like it to be used to help rid us of illegals.
So, again, do you agree with photo ID, to vote, and if so, why not make sure it is legit?
But not for illegal aliens!
Illegals ar3 walking free, while American Citizens ate being treated like this is the Soviet Union.
Exactly. And you can see the purpose of the rule.
You are still not answering the questions? Why not? Afraid to tell people you don’t support photo ID to vote? Or that you don’t care about identifying and deporting illegals? Or, maybe, you and/or your family and friends are secretly here illegally and want to avoid identification?
Don’t post to me anymore. You know my posting history, you are just being the jackss you always are.
In your opinion ...
What, if any, measures should be taken to ensure that a person who presents himself to register to vote is actually eligible to vote?
What, if any, measures should be taken to ensure that a person who presents himself to cast a vote is who he claims to be?
What entity or entities, if any, should take any measures you might possibly agree to in respect of the questions above?
* Illegal aliens excepted, of course. They don’t need a valid ‘real ID’ for anything.
No problem. Make it mutual. Have a nice day.
I think you know the answer to what “should” be done.
What can be done? I don’t think anything “can” be done. We are SOL. I will fight to the bitter end, but realistically, this country has passed the point of no return. If we can get Trump into office, we stand a chance of delaying the fall.
Meanwhile the fake refugee scum from South America, Africa and Asia don’t need any papers to travel...
lol...
I asked your opinion. I cannot read your mind, so I literally cannot know your thoughts on the matter ... unless you tell me.
That isn’t to say that I lack an opinion of my own ...
So ... you can answer ... or not ... or deflect ... or even call me names. Whatever. But a polite answer is rather preferrable.
But I thought requiring ID was racist.
How are poor people who cannot get an ID to vote, be required to get an ID to travel?
“ enhanced id” whatever that is, for land and sea travel to Mehico.
Making a National ID compulsory is what part of Art 1 Sec 8?
Say you just came across the river at the southern boarder and you will have no problem getting on a plane.
I have a RIGHT to travel. They must take your money or mine with our without an ID. It is a lawsuit waiting to happen.
