Merchan will sentence Trump to the death penalty, to be executed by 7PM EST.
I’m going with acquitted . The Dems are now sizing up their prospects of jail time. They’re evil and vindictive but they’re not stupid. I believe they’re talking to Merchan right now. The more they persecute Trump, the more support he gets. If it’s a hung jury, and Merchan intervenes, the rest of the sane democrats will understand that the administration is corrupt.

They’ll find him guilty of a crime that no one can define.
It will be a constant drumbeat of “convicted felon” from the media until election day. And he’ll lose in November because people are stupid and easily manipulated.
Never mind the high inflation, wars, crime and other insanity going on right now. The “convicted felon” narrative will fill the airwaves while the most important issues are pushed aside.

I agree with you. Yesterday I felt a hung jury was the probable outcome. After hearing the jury instructions, I’ve changed my mind and feel he’ll be convicted.
The verdict?
In truth, the verdict is that the idea of America is a dead letter.
Conviction, followed by state court upholding of conviction, followed by overturning of the conviction by a federal appeals court on reversible error grounds by the “Judge” and ordering a new trial.

I think a hung jury. Unless the two attorneys are in league with the judge and the politically-oriented bias he represents, I cannot imagine they would go along with a guilty verdict. If they do, they should be disbarred.
Are we to vote what we want or what we expect? This poll is worthless if it is passed upon what we expect. I want acquittal, but I will accept hung jury. I believe there are two realistic outcomes. It will most likely be guilty or hung jury. Let’s pray for hung jury or outright acquittal.
I am afraid this jury will convict him. They might reduce the number of counts as some pretense of thoughtfulness, but maybe not.
I listened to reenactments of the Mark Steyn vs. Michael Mann trial, and one fellow may have held out for a while, but not too long. Like with Trump, there was no case, and the jury found Steyn responsible for $1 of damages, but awarded $1,000,000 punitive damages.
The standard is higher in a criminal trial, but the standard in Steyn’s trial (Preponderance of the evidence) was not met in any event.
I hope I am wrong.
What should happen? Full acquittal after a few minutes of deliberation.
What will happen? Conviction on all counts by the all democrat jury.
Best case scenario? One or two holdouts and a hung jury.
Martha Stewart was accused of Insider Trading. She denied Insider trading, and was then also charged with Lying to the Authorities.
She was acquitted of Insider Trading, but convicted of Lying to the Authorities. The “lie” was denying that she committed Insider Trading.
This was one of many cases which have added up to my belief that the entire “justice” apparatus in America is garbage.

Merchan just delivered the coup de grace instruction. He said that there is no need to agree on what occurred. They can disagree on what the crime was among the three choices. Thus, this means that they could split 4-4-4 and he will still treat them as unanimous

Judge Merchan just told the jury that they do not need unanimity to convict. 4 could agree on one crime, 4 on a different one, and the other 4 on another. He said he would treat 4-4-4 as a unanimous verdict.
I voted guilty.
Remember, to Democrats the truth and facts DO NOT MATTER. All that matters to Democrats is the severity of the charges!!!
So to follow this logic, Joey has been proved to be a Liar, Pedophile, Pervert, Traitor, Plagiarist, and a mean spirited A@@hole. NONE of these charges must be severe enough for Democrats to demand a guilty verdict for Joey.
