Since all those AI engines are the products of biased minds, there’s no way any of them can be purely objective.

All they are doing is printing instructions they get from the CIA. No one does real reporting any more.

If the bots are programmed like the “journalists” have been in school, the Post will keep losing money.

It maybe artificial, but at least there will be some intelligence there finally.

Dear AI-nn Landers - I think my EV hates me. I don't think I've done anything wrong to it, but it refuses to drive me to my ex-boyfriend's house after he called me a "lying, two-timing slut". I program his address into the GPS, but then it drives me to the spa. Please help, Misguided in Portland.

Making the Washington Post even MORE unacceptable and LESS likely to attract fans.

I kinda like it.

So, does the </i>Washington Post</i> also intend to attract a readership of Leftist AI bots to keep the whole rickety and failing enterprise afloat?

Precisely! Garbage in, garbage out.

The problem I see with AI replacing people, is that a person can go out and find a story, see what’s happening, interview people, take pictures etc. This all means leg work on location.

Just how is AI supposed to do all that? Granted, AI can write stories just as biased as a person, but AI still needs to get a few basic facts so it can manipulate those facts. And that requires being someplace.

Basic sports news and business news has been written by expert computer software for at least the last five years.

Also, today, probably 25% of American journalists are former international students, who attended USA universities, who worked their way up through OPT or H1B employment programs, and now have Green Cards or Naturalized Citizenship.

This may sound crazy, but bear with me. AI gets its information from what’s on the net. If the Post runs stories based on AI getting information off the net, isn’t that basically plagiarism? And if, at some point, everyone tries to get information for their news stories from AI, wouldn’t there eventually be a lack of information? Someone, somewhere, has to do the research from which AI gathers its material.

Whereas the (human) journalists were paragons of impartiality?

Why even use AI?
Every article in the Post, except maybe the sports scores, is already written in advance in accord to the liberal talking points.

Take any topic and you could write the Post story right now.

Examples:

If Trump wins the election:
American democracy dies. Blacks and women will die under coming racist and misogynist dictatorship. Ballot fraud a likely factor in Biden’s loss.

If Mt.Rainier volcano blows:
Right wing climate policies cause massive destruction in Pacific Northwest.

Joe Biden dies:
America’s greatest president and architect of the new American Utopia passes in the company of his family of high achievers.

You know the template for any other story that the Post may cover.
