Rep. Tim Burchett is introducing a new bill designed to force the US government to release all of its UFO files. Things could soon get very interesting for UFO disclosure advocates - that is, at least, if a new congressional bill introduced by Rep. Tim Burchett this week actually passes.
At only 1.5 pages in length, the bill - entitled 'The UAP Transparency Act' - isn't exactly very large.
If it did happen to pass, however, it would force the President of the United States to not only order all government agencies to release all of their UFO-related documents to the public, but also to file additional reports every quarter to update both the House and Senate on the progress toward this goal.
Burchett himself is definitely no stranger to UFO transparency, having long championed the release of government files pertaining to the phenomenon.
"It's simple. They spend all this time telling us they don't exist, then release the files, dagnabbit," he said during an interview with Fox News.

The question is whether he is doing the right thing or furthering the conditioning of the people to being introduced to an intergalactic federation?
Any alien with the ability to reach our little corner of the universe could probably avoid being “hidden” by humans. On the other hand, just like we send robots and probes to investigate our Solar System, will another lifeform construct tiny robots that we would believe are just insects?
That next bug you squash just might be something else.
Then again, if the Zanti Misfits arrive, all bets are off.
There might be some things that we don’t want the other side to know we know.
Democrats are obsessed about ballots, Republicans are obsessed about UFOs.
Yes, but what level of confidence do we have that the government will follow the new law. Zero
There has not been a documented case of a government agency being held accountable for breaking/ignoring the law in my memory.

He seems like a straight shooter and, if he isn't, he is one hell of a good actor.
As the Pentagon might say, “Bill, schmill. It’s gonna take more than an Act of Congress to get the truth out of us.”
Russia and China have had UFO/alien secrets for many decades.
They know...
Everything.
As closed societies they do not share.
As an allegedly open but in fact closed society we do not share either.

We’ve been watching Amazon’s Project Blue Book series. Very entertaining, but has LOTS of undocumented filler. I wonder what Hynek’s kids think of the series treatment of their mother?
Well, they prob don’t want to lose their ‘we’re bs’n you ‘ card.
if there are aliens, they should care for us as much a we care for a fire ant colony in our back yard.
if there are aliens, the odds that this is a habitable planet are poor.
if there are aliens, why would our time scale mean anything to them ?
on earth some lifeforms lifespan is very short, some are very long. maybe these aliens are virtually immortal, if so they may take years to utter a word, or maybe they talk 666x faster than we do.
we have not even learned the native language of animals on our own world.
but yet some animals have learned how to communicate with us in ours.
I believe they would BURN information before they were forced to disclose it. But as someone else in this thread says: “They’d not disclose anything, and dare anyone to do something about it.” (Which never happens).
As if the country doesn’t have bigger problems to solve than this?
I’m not sure. Hynek was interviewed a few weeks ago and didn’t bring up his mother but did promote the show.
Same for sports and entertainment. We’ve got too many problems to permit sports and entertainment.
Right?
