They did worse than that. There was a good bill hammered out in the Senate and the House refused to take it up because Trump wants the border problem to be as bad as possible.
Johnson should bring a bill to the floor to really secure the border. Put the ball in the Dims court so when they vote it down in the Senate the blame will be on them.

1) Set priorities. The border should be Number One. Announce what those priorities are.
2) Work on them IN ORDER. and NOTHING happens on priority 2,3,4, etc. until Priority One is signed by the President, whoever that is.
