I guess you don’t very well understand the opposition part of “controlled opposition”.

I know that your statements are diametrically opposed to each other. If you own someone, they are not going to go against you without repercussions.

Controlled opposition is what the Republican Party is, but sometimes they want to be the ones in charge. So,, while not giving the Democrats everything, they still give them an overwhelming majority of what they want & call it bipartisanship. Democrats never do this, which is why when they have only a one seat majority, they still get what they want passed.

No, this attack on Trump is beyond the pale. There is no "control" whatsoever. It is an all out assault on Law & Order. It makes Watergate look like a walk in the park in comparison.

When have the left ever allowed their “controlled opposition” to renegotiate major trade deals with Mexico and China, cripple Iran with sanctions, and broker Middle East peace deals? Or how about the Muslim travel ban, MS13 deportations and border security? That’s not how controlled opposition works. Controlled opposition is Paul Ryan, Trey Gowdy, Mitt Romney, etc. Controlled opposition never deliver policies that actually damage the deep state in a significant way. Controlled opposition makes promises, it doesn’t keep them.
