Donald J. Trump Posts From His Truth Social @TrumpDailyPosts

THE NEW FBI BUILDING SHOULD BE BUILT IN WASHINGTON, D.C., NOT MARYLAND, AND BE THE CENTERPIECE OF MY PLAN TO TOTALLY RENOVATE AND REBUILD OUR CAPITAL CITY INTO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL AND SAFEST ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. THE FBI MUST BE IN WALKING DISTANCE TO THE DOJ BUILDING IN THAT THE DOJ & FBI HAVE TO WORK CLOSELY TOGETHER. A TWO MINUTE WALK TO A MEETING IS FAR BETTER THAN A TRAFFIC LADEN TWO HOUR DRIVE TO GREENBELT, MARYLAND. LIKEWISE, HAVING THE FBI IN D.C. IS IMPORTANT FOR ENDING VIOLENT CRIME, WHICH I WILL DO, QUICKLY!!!

It’s called lying, and politicians do it all the time.

I knew exactly what you were getting at. But I suggest it was said in jest, because Trump has been the most honest President in our lifetime.

We each have to use our own best judgement of the situation.

>The F.B.I. should have its HQ somewhere in the Center of the United States as far away from the politics of Washington D.C. as possible.<

They have field offices all over the country. Some are more corrupt than others. By having HQ dead center DC, the feds will have skin in the game to clean up crime in their neighborhood.

They know who the gangbangers are. It just doesn’t affect them on their commute from the Maryland and Virginia suburbs to their cushy office outside DC. They will be inclined to use the Metro.

Ben is my first choice, but Ben would be a terrible president. Doug Bergum is a self-made guy. A billionaire in his own right.

I don’t know if he and Trump get along.

Definitely will not be a US Senator.

The FBI has 56 field offices. There should be a main office right in DC...but not the massive mess that exists now.

Better than a new building!

When have the left ever allowed their “controlled opposition” to renegotiate major trade deals with Mexico and China, cripple Iran with sanctions, and broker Middle East peace deals? Or how about the Muslim travel ban, MS13 deportations and border security? That’s not how controlled opposition works. Controlled opposition is Paul Ryan, Trey Gowdy, Mitt Romney, etc. Controlled opposition never deliver policies that actually damage the deep state in a significant way. Controlled opposition makes promises, it doesn’t keep them.

As I’ve offered to the others, here’s some reading for you: The Creature from Jeckyll Island.

Were Americans more free in Jan, 2017, or Jan, 2021?

Was the Deep State more firmly in control in Jan, 2017, or Jan, 2021?

You’re using the wrong metric. “Were we better off?” is a vague question and the answer depends on whether you’re referring to the daily lives of Americans or to the power struggle we’re engaged in (and have been for decades). With regards to daily life, things were worse in Jan. 2021 than in Jan. 2017.

But strategically, we’re in a better position today than we were at either of those two times. The people have turned on the Democrats, they’re losing key parts of their constituency, and Trump is headed for a landslide and a mandate to do what he was prevented from doing in his first term.

That’s how wars work. The colonies had to go through the low point of Valley Forge in order to get to Cornwallis’s surrender.

The point is that we were more under the thumb of the federal government (and our own military!) than we may ever have been in history.

Most of the bad legislation was already passed, but Trump set it in motion.

And you don’t hear a peep out of him on repealing all those bad laws!
