The FBI has been pushing for a fancy new building in the DC suburbs. Trump is taking away this new toy from the FBI.
The freaking building should not be built. Need to get the debt down. Cut their building instead of raising taxes.
Yeah, that is one way of looking at it... put them out in the slum instead of shaded in the greenery.
So, I will refrain getting into a discussion where neither one of us can be sure what his true intentions are with his statement.
But who will you vote for when it's time to vote, be it early or election day. I think I will vote early this year.

Unfortunately it will be impossible to “abolish” either the FBI or the DOJ. But they could be reorganized and refocused to appropriate purposes.
A Federal Bureau of Investigation that focused on investigations could be a good thing, provided they had no ability to enforce. They could analyze and investigate, providing valuable information to local enforcement agencies. Stop the fiascos they have been responsible for when local and state law enforcement could have been more than adequate.
The Department of Justice in this and other Democrat run administrations has been about anything but Justice. Punish political,opponents while letting criminals go free if in their preferred class, whether political or otherwise. Strict guidelines with transparent oversight by Congress.
How do you buy off a guy who can pay a half billion dollar bail? Maybe you just pay him it McDonald’s burgers and then promise him eight years of relentless investigations and attempts to jail him in order to sweeten the pot?

Controlled opposition is what the Republican Party is, but sometimes they want to be the ones in charge. So,, while not giving the Democrats everything, they still give them an overwhelming majority of what they want & call it bipartisanship. Democrats never do this, which is why when they have only a one seat majority, they still get what they want passed.
No, this attack on Trump is beyond the pale. There is no "control" whatsoever. It is an all out assault on Law & Order. It makes Watergate look like a walk in the park in comparison.

Was instrumental in the Atlantic City casinos when they were thought to have been laundering intel agency money related to Cuba. They’ve undoubtedly got info on him, and his SIL/handler walked away with $2B. Israel evidently had their claws in him as well.

Almost same situation with Bush and Cheney - both were residents of Texas but Cheney kept a residence in Montana so he got away with it. Since he’s a Senator from FL Rubio doesn’t have that out... I don’t think it’s doable. Trump has shouted from the rooftops that he’s now a resident of FL.
