Political commentator Tucker Carlson said that politicians are “terrified” of intelligence agencies framing them with “kiddie porn” if they oppose warrantless spying on Americans. Carlson made the stunning allegation on an episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” that aired on Friday.
The former Fox News host told Rogan that lawmakers have personally told him they fear retaliation from the intelligence community if they oppose reauthorizing Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).
“People don’t say that because they’re worried about being punished,” Carlson said. “They’re worried about someone putting kiddie porn on their computer. Members of Congress are terrified of the intel agencies. I’m not guessing at that. They’ve told me that — including people on the intel committee, including people who run the intel committee.”
“The people whose job it is to oversee and keep in line these enormous, secretive agencies whose budgets we can’t even know — their ‘black budgets,’” Carlson added. “They’re the parents, the agencies are the children. They’re afraid of the agencies. That’s not compatible with democracy.”
Carlson reiterated that politicians are supporting “warrantless spying” on American citizens because “they’re threatened.”

When you look at all the lies 'intelligence' put out about Trump when he first decided to run it's amazing he was able to stand up to them.
None of us knew how horrible they were...that they could damage a person 'seven ways from Sunday'... and were proud of being bullies. That they weren't our protectors but the thugs and goons of our nightmares. How could we have known?
Seems our 'intelligence community's as bad or worse than the old KGB. Maybe worse than Hitler's SS. They certainly don't believe in democracy or trust 'the people'. Like all totalitarians they hate 'the people' except those that fear them and kiss their butts.
Nearly a decade ago an ex-Fed law enforcement employee I worked with overseas told me the same.
He told me anytime you hear of a person arrested for crime “ A”, AND you see words like “…..and he was found with child porn on his computer” , the person is most probably being framed by the Feds…..demonizing the suspect.
Also, when Crime A is committed, it will always be stacked with Crime B “ conspiracy to commit”,…..our Federal government Justice system is corrupt….and getting worse every day.

If you needed any further evidence, they put Alan Dulles, CIA head that JFK fired but was still secretly running the agency from the shadows, on the panel of the "independent" investigation. If the CIA took out JFK it was Dulles who ordered it.
There is no question the CIA took out JFK, the public was told a lone gunman with a rifle bought from a catalog killed JFK, the lone gunman, 3 days later was then killed by another lone gunman in the basement of the police station, this was the official conclusion of the Warren Commission, it’s almost like they were trolling the public by coming up with a totally ridiculous conclusion and getting the public to believe it.
I don’t doubt that “blackmail” applies to a significant percentage of the Congress critters.
Afraid of being framed, or afraid of being found out?
I’ll bet it is. NObody questions when the FBI “Finds” child porn on someones computer. It’s assumed they’re guilty.

It's clearly a go-to paradigm that almost always works, irrespective of whether the kiddy-porn attackee was recorded in any peccadillo.
In the case of my friend, the threat didn't work, for one glaring reason: the computer-based message communicating it wasn't seen until after the attack had already taken place (not that it would've made any difference). After a long period of suffering, my friend's husband did pass away.
