Outrage erupts as California Governor Gavin Newsom's restaurant, the PlumpJack Café, brazenly advertises positions with a paltry $16 hourly wage—well below the newly mandated $20 minimum wage for fast-food workers. This revelation casts a glaring spotlight on the stark hypocrisy of Newsom's stance on labor rights, as he champions progressive policies while his own establishments fall short of meeting basic wage standards.

As of April 1, a new state law came into effect in California, guaranteeing a minimum wage of $20 per hour for fast-food workers employed in large chains, a significant increase from the previous minimum of $16. This legislation, hailed by Democrats as a victory for workers' rights, has faced criticism from Republicans who argue it could lead to job losses.

People need to figure out that there aren’t really any laws anymore. There is only Power.

I Can Only Imagine that people who dine at one of newsoms $5,000 wine restaurants and $65 entrees are probably pretty good tippers. In fact there’s probably a line on the check offering several percentage options for tipping the wait staff. And there’s probably a divvy between wait staff and kitchen staff.

People who steal money out of the tip jar are held in great to stain in fact probably Knives have been drawn over it but there’s only one person I know who’s ever admitted to stealing out of the tip jar and that’s our favorite congresswoman AOC.... aka 0”The Thief”

If my memory serves me, the new law affects only larger businesses with over a large number of employees. Does this restaurant meet that threshold?
