Special Counsel Jack Smith issued a veiled threat to Judge Aileen Cannon in response to her jury instructions.
Last month Judge Aileen Cannon issued a jury instruction order in Jack Smith’s classified documents case and the leftist legal analysts went apocalyptic.

I always said Smith wasn’t very Smart. A dumbass shyster threatening a judge isn’t very bright.
I think he's desperate. He knows this case is disintegrating and wishes he never started it.
He may be hoping she will kick the whole case out.
There should be no “Trump Classified Docs Case”. There should be a “biden Classified Docs Case”.
That's wishful thinking, since the guilty verdicts have already been written up and accept. All of this is just Kabuki Theater and delaying the inevitable.

His argument is: we, the administrative-intel deep-state, haver ultimate power to declare what documents a President can see, and keep.
Thus making the “deep state” the true executive authority of the USA.

Judge Cannon is the only judge in this world of lawfare not tilting against Trump. Dems aren’t used to being told No.
His intent was always to get the D.C. Circuit to seize the case from Cannon. It’s all proceeding according to the Lawfare whiteboard.

It is like they buried Trump in sand up to his neck. And then they released a couple of bulldogs to attack him. Then when the first dog ran by him, he bit it’s balls off. Then Smith beats Trump’s head with a stick and says to Judge Cannon “Trump is not plaing fair Judge”.
The legal basis of Smith’s argument makes no sense to me, resting as it does on the premis that the PRA somehow binds the president.
How can Congress tell a separate and coequal branch how to conduct itself with regard to constitutionally delegated authority? Just seems crazy on its face.
I agree that Smith is desperate. I also agree that Smith knows his case is disintegrating. However, I disagree that Smith wishes he never started it. He is all in on prosecuting Trump wherever, whenever, and however he can.
His goal was never to secure a conviction, it was to tie up Trump's time and resources as much as he could during the campaign.
In other words, election interference.

No, that allows him to start appeals and other criminal assaults on Trump. Better that she does as she is and kneels on the ball to run the clock out. Jack wants a speedy and trial that she is under no obligation to provide.
And maybe jack will pop a critical vessel.
There is no classified documents case. Trump is not charged for possessing any classified documents. All he possessed were declassified documents.
That is why they keep prattling on about “documents stamped secret”. They do not want to try to litigate whether or not the documents were classified, so they are bizarrely charging him under the WWI Espionage Act with possessing “National Defense Information”, that does NOT have to be classified.
Jack is basically from the Netherlands and thinks he is operating at the International Criminal Court at the Hague, which America is not a member of.
