Here's proof that Seattle Democrats hate the working class:

"A driver who made $931 in a week this time last year saw his earnings drop by half to $464.81 in a comparative week this year."

Didn’t see any names of the individual TOTALITARIANS who thought of this. Their enablers names should be noticed too.

“I ordered like a $12 sandwich. But then the $12 grew to $32.”

It’s because they’re Marxists.

“The law ensures that the drivers—who are independent contractors—are paid a “minimum wage equivalent rate” and receive the Internal Revenue Service’s (IRS) standard mileage reimbursement”

with a $5/order minimum.

The Marxists aren’t the only troublemakers.

The difference between $12 and $32 is far greater than $5.

But now they can all get in on the Public Assistance bandwagon and become enslaved in dependence and become beholden to the National Socialist Demonrat Workers party.

They’re like children, they have to touch everything. It’s a sickness. They can’t leave well enough alone. They start fiddling around with things in which they really don’t anything about and the outcome is they ruin everything they touch.

It’s not so much a sickness. It’s pure, naked, smirking evil.

It’s not hate, it’s total ignorance and pride with an inability to admit error because of virtue signaling being of the greatest importance.

In the big picture, It’s because there is nobody that is willing to step up and kill them.

That’s Marxism.

Another article about this issue:
https://www.geekwire.com/2024/seattle-city-council-president-sara-nelson-very-worried-about-fallout-from-food-delivery-shake-up/

From the new Seattle city council president, Sara Nelson:

“I’m not going to redo the whole legislation,” Nelson said. “I want to make changes that will reduce the cost of delivery so that people start ordering again, at the same levels they were before.”

What Nelson doesn’t seem to understand is that consumers need to manage their finances, as do companies. I think the city council really blames businesses for these types of problems, not the consumers. What will they eventually try to do to control business, besides raising taxes? Consumers can cut back on spending when their finances are stretched. Businesses will either leave or shut their doors if the same happens to them.

and the little freak does not understand that besides the delivery fees rising, the cost of the food more than doubled, which means most will pass on the delivered food business.

*************

A lot of this stems from their arrogant sense of intellectual and moral superiority. They feel entitled to rule over us.

Nelson is a control freak.

She is a menace to children and other living things.

This. Too many people think its stupidity when it isn’t. They can’t tell the difference.

We keep being told everyone is broke but they somehow haven’t learned to turn on that big cube thing in their kitchens. I make Schlotzsky’s sandwiches at home from scratch, including the bun. For the price of 1 at the window, you can make 10 at home so talk about the saving$. And it’s still hot from the oven. There are countless online recipes for fast food which can easily feed the family and the neighbors for the price of one eating out meal.

As much as possible in this house is scratch made for pennies. I made yogurt a couple days ago and turned it into a $1.50 crustless jalapeno and orange zest cheesecake (fancy dancy gourmet, LOL). $1.50 compared to $18 at the grocery store and who knows what one from a bakery costs and have it delivered and tip the driver.

Consumers can and should cut back but they won’t. They haven’t a clue about wants vs. needs. They believe they need to have a full sized bedroom (sq footage in purchasing a large house and property tax) for their closets and a large bathroom to turn into a beauty supply store. They think they deserve a morning and afternoon Starbucks, eating out for lunch and dinner and partying every Saturday. No, they need to put food in the kids’ bellies and a roof over their heads and pay off the house and cars. And pay their own college.

The government needs to stop sticking their noses where they don’t belong.
