Who could of believed 2 years ago that RuZZia couldn’t conquer Ukraine?

2 years later, Ukraine is destroying RuZZia’s Black Sea Fleet, Air Force and Army.

All while liberating half of the land RuZZia seized at the beginning of the war.

What a wild 2 years.

Avdiivka was a costly ‘win’ for RuZZia. With ‘wins’ like that, they will lose the war.

“#Avdiivka offensive equipment loss numbers as of 23 February 2024. In summary: 690 RU losses vs. 75 UA losses As Russia has now successfully captured the city of Avdiivka, future updates will be to tally newly discovered losses. Losses proven to have occured after the city was captured will also be culled in the future. Spreadsheet showing the losses in detail:”

You are delusional. Did you add the 2 Abrams taken out yesterday? The Ukes are winning?! Ridiculous. What the heck, go for it. You can’t look any more absurd than you already do. The Ukes are winning.

The enemy struck a secret facility in Crimea. 14 soldiers died

We received tragic news from Crimea. On the evening of Sunday, February 25, the enemy launched a missile attack on a military facility on the peninsula. There are dead.

The Ukrainians fired three missiles. Two of them were shot down. One, unfortunately, ended up in a training camp in the Saki region of Crimea.

“This is a top secret facility. Our special forces trained there. The rocket hit directly the place where the military was having dinner during the shelling. After receiving a signal about the missile danger, they did not leave the camp, because they could not even imagine that anyone knew about it. As a result, there are many casualties,” said our source in the Ministry of Defense.

According to another, 14 military personnel were killed, two of them officers. 17 people were injured. All the dead and wounded were elite special forces who “performed important tasks during the Northern Military District, including behind enemy lines.”

The camp that was hit by the missile is located in a deserted place - far from populated areas. Therefore, practically no one heard the explosion or saw smoke at the impact site.

The Kremlin has three fears: what Putin’s circle is saying about the presidential elections

In mid-March, Vladimir Putin will be re-elected President again. There is no doubt that he will win the elections. However, the voting process itself is necessary to ensure the legitimacy of Vladimir Vladimirovich and increase the level of support among the population.

Against the background of the death of Alexei Navalny and the withdrawal of Boris Nadezhdin from the election race, we talked with people in the Kremlin and those who ensure the elections. Combining the opinions of our interlocutors, we can state that there are three main fears in the AP.

••The first fear is that the organizers will not be able to ensure a result of 87%. This is exactly the figure that appears in internal documents.

••The second fear is that the election race will bring someone with an anti-war or neutral agenda into the political arena. It was for this reason that Nadezhdin was banned from being a candidate, and for the same reason Abramovich was dissuaded.

••The third fear is that ordinary Russians will perceive this term as Putin’s last, and will demand a lot from him. In particular, we are talking about problems in the regions, whose authorities are often distinguished by all the known “excesses on the ground.”

There are fears in the AP that the movement of mobilized wives is only the first sign; then a conditional “movement of engineers’ wives” may appear, who will demand apartments or higher salaries for their husbands.

It is for this reason that the election campaign is proceeding extremely quietly, and protest actions have begun to be dealt with more harshly. However, as you understand, any destabilization during a war does not benefit the state. Therefore, you need to be more careful with protests.

At the same time, in general, the Kremlin does not have any global problems, because ordinary Russians do not see an alternative to Vladimir Putin. And the year 2030, when it will be necessary to go to the sites again, is still very far away.

Urgent changes had to be made to Putin’s message to the Federal Assembly

We received rather strange news right during Vladimir Vladimirovich’s message. Several Kremlin sources told us that the text of the president’s speech differs from what was originally planned.

Firstly, Putin was not going to say anything about our nuclear weapons and the threat of nuclear conflict. French statements about the possible dispatch of NATO troops to Ukraine were influential.

“As far as I know, Shoigu, whom Vladimir Vladimirovich now trusts very much, asked to threaten us with nuclear weapons. They say the West will get scared and stop talking about sending its troops.

“Because if they send us, we will be in big trouble, we may even lose to the Northern Military District ( we wrote about this - ed. [ https://t.me/kremlin_secrets/3674 ] ),” explained the interlocutor in the AP. He is concerned that the Minister of Defense influences the President in such a way that he “with his speech creates an escalation that is unnecessary now.”

“The words about nuclear weapons surprised me. This is mistake.

“If I were the West, I would now load Ukraine up with weapons so much that it wouldn’t seem enough to us. We will not be able to answer this without restoring the army and taking a pause. Shoigu, it turns out, gave Vladimir Vladimirovich harmful advice,” said, in turn, a high-ranking source in the General Staff.

Secondly, statements about partial demobilization disappeared from the President’s speech. We wrote about this in detail. [ https://t.me/kremlin_secrets/3678 ]

Many of our interlocutors were “strained” by Shoigu’s increased influence on the president. They are going to take action. Including to prevent a big war deep in the Russian rear.

[ Four Unfazed Ukrainian Soldiers Dismantle a Huge Russian Assault Unit ]

==
Day 737: Mar 01

Today, there are a lot of updates from the Orikhiv direction.

Here, Russian forces decided to conduct a sudden offensive operation right after the recent capture of Avdiivka, and according to the latest updates, the intensity of attacks here remains very high.

The main idea behind the sudden offensive was to catch Ukrainian forces off guard because they expected Ukrainians to relocate a portion of their garrison from this direction to Avdiivka to stabilize the front line.

The most intense clashes are taking place in and around Robotyne. Russian forces opened two vectors of attack and are assaulting Ukrainian positions on the outskirts of Robotyne from the south and the southwest.

These are also the most fortified areas around the village because Ukrainians are in control of extensive trench networks, and even though these fortifications incurred notable damage during almost nine months of fighting in the area, they still serve as formidable obstacles.

Last time, we saw how these obstacles helped repel a series of major mechanized attacks, where Russians used up to 30 tanks and, armored vehicles, and 100s of soldiers. The destroyed units were scattered throughout the region, with the survivors even reaching the first houses in the village in an attempt to seek shelter.

This is important because even though the isolated remnants of the Russian forces, who were also virtually with no ammo, were quickly captured by Ukrainians, Russian media sources presented it as a victory. Such premature declarations of victory guarantee that the Russian commanders will order to conduct another wave of attack as soon as possible to catch up with the narrative.

Otherwise, if they fail to catch up with the narrative and the media sources have to roll back and say that Russians actually lost the newly captured positions, it will throw shade on the Russian commanders. That is why Russian forces launched a new wave of attacks.

The next major attack came from the south, and based on the geolocated combat footage, Russian forces used multiple armored fighting vehicles that were carrying several dozens of soldiers.

The armored fighting vehicles were actively suppressing Ukrainian fire while trying to get as deep into the village as possible to deploy the infantry near more intact houses than on the outskirts.

The analysts concluded that such a coordinated Russian attack took Ukrainians by surprise, which is why they did not manage to stop Russians as usual on the approaches and had to engage in urban fighting.

Russian sources reported that Russian infantry assumed their positions in the local school and continued trying to develop their attack further.

Despite the heavy pressure from the Russian infantry, whose attacks were supported by constant artillery fire, Ukrainian forces managed to retain control over the northern half of the village and break the Russian momentum.

Once the momentum was stopped, Ukrainians started conducting counterattacks to reestablish control over the southern part of the village.

Even though Russian sources claimed that the attack was successful, referring to the footage of the initial breakthrough, Ukrainian sources claimed that the Russian attack failed and posted videos showing destroyed equipment and personnel and also lone survivors who were seeking shelter.

To be fair, the Ukrainians barely managed to retain control over their positions.

The Russian commanders, who were observing the battle from drones, understood that this attack significantly undermined the Ukrainian defensive capabilities and started planning the night attack.

As it turned out, after Ukrainians evacuated the wounded, there were only four fighters left on the positions. They anticipated receiving reinforcements within hours, however, the Russian attack came much sooner.

As the insane footage of the night battle reveals, these four Ukrainian fighters accepted the battle against three armored fighting vehicles and twenty-four soldiers.

The Russian assault unit started incurring losses already on the approach, as one of their armored vehicles blew up on a mine. One of the four Ukrainian fighters immediately doubled the damage by hitting the second armored vehicle from an RPG.

Only the 3rd armored fighting vehicle managed to reach the planned destination and landed the infantry in front of the Ukrainian positions.

The four Ukrainian soldiers immediately engaged the attackers and did not allow them to get close. The coordinated gunfire immobilized the Russians and made them an easy target for the Ukrainian artillery, mortar, and drone crews, who supported the four Ukrainian soldiers on the ground with vicious intensity.

Despite suffering multiple injuries from gunfire and shrapnel from high-explosive shells, the four Ukrainian fighters continued to stand their ground until the attack was completely repelled.

When the reinforcements arrived, the four soldiers withdrew to receive medical treatment, while the fresh units went checking basements and taking captive those Russians that survived the night.

Overall, the latest battle in Robotyne clearly demonstrated why the Russian advancements in the region are so slow and unstable. The willingness of the Ukrainian fighters to stand their ground, even in the face of prevailing forces, ensures that Russians pay a significant price for each gained meter.

That is why Russian forces have to resort to human wave attacks - because without overwhelming Ukrainian forces and putting them in a position where they are physically incapable of tracing all moving targets, there is virtually no prospect of securing new gains.

Such a setting allows Ukrainians to impose a high kill-death ratio, making the imposed attrition warfare self-destructive even for Russians.

Prigozhin’s associates announced a reward for the head of the Interior Ministry general

Close associates of Yevgeny Prigozhin, who after his death did not join the army units and other PMCs, are outraged by the words of the head of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Rostov Region, General Oleg Agarkov.

“Let us recall that he recently stated that stopping the rebellion in Rostov-on-Don was the merit of the local police, whose employees ‘did not flinch in moments of danger.’

“Everyone saw and knows what happened in Rostov. Our guys took the city in just over an hour. Including the headquarters of the Southern Military District. Evgeny Viktorovich stopped the march on Moscow with a strong-willed decision. There were negotiations at the highest level.

“And now this general is crawling out from under the table and talking about his heroics,” one of the leaders of the PMC, Wagner, explained to us the angry reaction.

According to another Wagnerite, once close to Prigozhin, “the general not only lied, but also defamed the memory of the deceased leader of the Wagner PMC.”

“We are announcing a reward - 5 million rubles for the head of General Agarkov. Alive or dead. But it’s better than alive,” said our interlocutor.

Serious problems arose in the presidential elections in new regions of Russia

More than 25% of residents of the new regions of our country (DPR, LPR, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions) do not want to take part in Presidential elections. This is evidenced by the results of a closed sociological study that we have at our disposal.

“In new regions there are many different fears. We don’t yet know what to do with them, but they also influence reluctance to vote,” noted a representative of Sergei Kiriyenko’s team, who showed us the results of the survey.

In particular, more than 80% of those who do not want to participate in the elections fear a further deterioration of the socio-economic situation in their region. Also among the fears are the prolongation of active hostilities (mentioned by 76% of respondents), disbelief that “Russia will change something for the better” (62%), fears about a new wave of mobilization (51%).

They are especially afraid of mobilization in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, since “there is a threat that it will take place here thoughtlessly, following the example of the DPR and LPR in 2022, and many mobilized will die or be seriously injured.”

The election process is also influenced by the criminal activities of saboteurs in new regions. We wrote about individual cases and consequences of enemy sabotage.

In general, according to the statistics provided to us by the FSB, in the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, DPR and LPR over the past month, 26 people who have one way or another to do with the organization of the elections were killed or died under mysterious circumstances.

“People are afraid and refuse to work in the elections,” a source in the Kremlin complained about this.

“The “waiters” who are still waiting for the Ukrainian army are also in the way; there are many of them here. I won’t say what percentage, but it’s a lot. We will, of course, make the necessary result.

But Vladimir Vladimirovich will definitely ask how many people actually voted for him. And we don’t yet know how to answer this question,” another AP source close to Kiriyenko honestly admitted.

Armata tanks made Shoigu laugh

A few weeks ago, Vladimir Putin ordered T-14 Armata tanks to be sent to the front. The statement was made at one of the meetings with the military. When the president asked the other day how things were going, Chief of the General Staff Gerasimov, who now controls the group in Ukraine, replied that “in the process.”

After the meeting, Gerasimov phoned Shoigu and asked how things really stood. Shoigu laughed in response and said: “Otherwise you don’t know. They’re not there, damn it. They’re not coming.”

Gerasimov knew about the situation, but, as it turned out, the Russian troops now have 4 [ !! ] combat-ready vehicles, but in fact the military is not even really familiar with them. Shoigu said that the tanks would be sent to the front, but asked to keep them somewhere in the rear.

Moreover, Shoigu demanded that photos of tanks be taken at different points on the front in order to show Putin and make it appear that there were at least dozens of such tanks.

Kremlin snuff box, 03/05/24
https://t.me/s/kremlin_secrets

Sensation! The Armata tanks did not reach the front. Did you all hear? Chemezov himself said!

Friends, the strong reaction to the words of Rostec CEO Sergei Chemezov regarding the Armata tanks is sincerely surprising. Let us remember that he said: “Armata”, in general, is a little expensive. In terms of functionality, it is, of course, much superior to existing tanks, but it is too expensive, so the army is unlikely to use it now. It’s easier for them to buy the same T-90s.”

Chemezov publicly admitted that there are no Armata tanks in the army, at least in the Northern Military District zone. Now let’s watch our hands. We raised this topic several times last year. They did this deliberately, knowing that the President was being presented with completely different information.

Here are quotes from our last year’s posts. First - January 22, 2023:
A few weeks ago, Vladimir Putin ordered T-14 Armata tanks to be sent to the front. The statement was made at one of the meetings with the military. When the president asked the other day how things were going, Chief of the General Staff Gerasimov, who now controls the group in Ukraine, replied that “in the process.”

After the meeting, Gerasimov phoned Shoigu and asked how things really stood. Shoigu laughed in response and said: “Otherwise you don’t know. They’re not there, damn it. They’re not coming.”

Second post, March 28, 2023:
Since the beginning of the year, the domestic military industry has managed to produce 0 (zero) Armata tanks. In general, there are several units at the front and in the rear, but they are not used in battle. At the same time, the media constantly talk about how effective this tank is and how it is better than any Western analogues. Perhaps this is because it was not used at all in the war? [ 🤣 ]

Third post, August 15, 2023:
The situation with tanks in the army is, to put it mildly, sad. In March, we wrote that for three months, not a single one of the T-14 Armata tanks promised to Shoigu was put on the balance sheet of the Russian Armed Forces.

At the same time, the Minister of Defense himself avoids answering the question, what about the promised miracle of technology and when will the Armatas finally reach the front line? The Ministry of Defense has been tasked with creating a picture of how the heroic Armata crews fight on the front line. We expect new “premieres” in the near future.

And now, in the third year of the Northern Military District, it turns out that the Armata tank essentially exists individually and the army cannot use it in combat. And how much pathos there was!

How much money was stolen! The President (and all of us) have been deceived for years. Obviously, in the context of the active use of FPV drones, any tank is a good target for an experienced drone operator, but Chemezov’s words sound something like this: “We would have them wow! It’s a pity that we can’t.”

The history of the Armata tank is the history of a big soap bubble. Alas, there are enough such bubbles in our military industry. I wonder which one will burst next. [ 🤣 ]

[ Ukrainians Catch & Destroy a Huge Warship ]

==
Day 742: Mar 06

Today, there are a lot of interesting updates from Crimea.

Here, Ukrainian forces conducted a comprehensive multi-stage operation, which resulted in the destruction of a large Russian patrol ship of the Black Sea Fleet.

It is important to note that these operations take weeks, if not months, to conduct, and most sources miss the scale and complexity of these operations by reporting on just the last thing that happens.

Ukrainian forces do not have a fleet, and Russian warships are careful enough not to get in the range of Ukrainian anti-ship systems as well as sea mines, so as you can imagine, it is extraordinarily difficult for Ukrainians to destroy the Russian fleet.

Right now, Ukrainians have only two means to destroy Russian warships: with Storm Shadow missiles and with marine drones.

When it comes to Storm Shadow missile strikes, they have become increasingly difficult because Russian forces made a series of adjustments, such as relocating their fleet to ports outside of the missile range and being constantly on the move within the missile range.

When it comes to marine drone strikes, they are difficult to conduct because most Russian ships are not only on the move, but also have radar, machine guns, and aviation support at their disposal to detect and destroy the approaching drones. So, catching the Russian ships involves a lot of planning.

The first stage of the operation started on the first of March. Russian sources claimed that Ukrainian forces conducted a series of strikes against Russian targets near Sevastopol, Yevpatoria, Saky, and Simferopol.

According to Russian military analysts, the Ukrainian Armed Forces once targeted Russian Aerospace Forces airfields. In order to complicate the interception of the missiles and confuse the Russian air defense operators as to which missiles to prioritize, Ukrainians made sure to launch decoy missiles.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated that all missiles were intercepted, and the airfields remained intact. And judging by the lack of geolocated footage, it seems like this is true. This is not surprising, as in a previous strike, Ukrainians managed to hit Russian airfields, so it was expected that Russian forces would adjust.

However, given the scarcity of air defense systems, Ukrainians understood that by improving air defense in one region, Russian forces necessarily created a hole in another region. That is why, two days later, Ukrainians launched a completely different strike in a completely different region.

The second stage of the operation involved a massive drone attack in the central part of Crimea. Russian sources reported that Ukrainians launched 38 drones of various types. What is interesting is that all drones were targeting the same area - Feodosia.

Now, as you might still remember, Russian forces have relocated a substantial portion of their Black Sea Fleet from Sevastopol to Feodosia to increase the distance and complicate Ukrainian strikes.

However, the town is still within the range of S-200 missiles, and given that Ukrainians launched so many drones in this direction, Russian forces understood that Ukrainians were purposefully unloading and overloading the Russian air defense to open the sky for the missiles.

In anticipation of the missile strike, Russian forces started moving their ships, as it is the easiest precautionary measure against missile strikes. However, by avoiding keeping ships in the bay, Russian forces necessarily exposed their ships to marine drone strikes, which is exactly what was the next Ukrainian move.

Today, Ukrainian forces conducted a marine drone strike on a large Russian patrol ship near Feodosia. Ukraine’s Main Military Intelligence Directorate reported that they successfully attacked the warship using Magura V-5 naval drones, inflicting severe damage on the port and starboard sides of the ship, killing 7 sailors, and wounding 6.

Moreover, Ukrainian sources noted that the warship had either a Ka-29 or Ka-27 helicopter on board, which Ukrainian forces destroyed along with the ship.

A Russian insider source claimed that after the initial naval drone strike, Russian forces tried to tow the ship back to port, but that the damage was so severe that the ship sank 5 kilometers off the coast.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces Center for strategic Communications reported that Ukrainian forces had disabled about 33% of the Black Sea fleet’s warships, including 24 four ships and one submarine.

The Marine drones are improving day by day and the success rate of these strikes has significantly increased over the last year.

Ukrainian forces have discovered a major weakness in certain types of Russian warships, more precisely most of them are inadequately equipped to defend themselves against such attacks.

By improving the speed and stealth of the drones, Ukrainians are delaying the detection, and leaving Russians much less time to engage the drones from machine guns or request support from aviation.

The destruction of the ships is important, not only for achieving the long-term objective of liberating Crimea, but also for the medium-term objective of forcing Russians to split their military budget, and spend money and resources on fixing or building ships, instead of other military equipment that would be more useful on the front.

So in the medium term the destruction of Russian warships reduces the pressure on the front lines, because Russians are allocating resources to ship instead of the front.

Shoigu gave the generals a thrashing because of the leak of data on losses in Avdiivka

The publication of information about the real losses of our army during the battles for Avdiivka caused a wide resonance not only in military, but also in political circles. We cannot say whether these figures reached Vladimir Putin, but we know for sure that this caused an extremely angry reaction from Sergei Shoigu.

According to our information, the Minister of Defense gathered 7 high-ranking generals and demanded that they determine where the information was leaked to the press.

In our publication, we recall that we said that the capture of Avdiivka cost us 14.5 thousand dead and another 42,000 wounded soldiers. Over 200 tanks, 100s of armored vehicles and artillery systems were also lost.

Rumor has it that Shoigu decided to significantly reduce the official data and put figures several times lower on the president’s desk. Now it will be more difficult to do this.

In any case, we hope that Vladimir Vladimirovich will be aware of the real losses of our army, because taking the city by the time of the elections is largely a political decision.

An FSB special group arrived in Cherepovets

According to our information, FSB specialists from Moscow arrived in Cherepovets last night. The reason is yesterday’s attack on the Severstal plant.

We informed that previously there had been a combined attack using explosives inside the enterprise and an attack on the plant infrastructure by an enemy drone.

An FSB special group was delivered to Cherepovets by helicopter, which will conduct the investigation. Sources hinted that there could have been betrayal among the plant employees and law enforcement agencies, which is why they assigned additional forces to conduct a closed investigation, not local FSB agents.

By the way, the director of the enterprise has already been questioned. Interestingly, the FSB officers were told not to touch the governor. Obviously, Ekaterina Tikhonova’s lobby is working.

However, this selectivity greatly irritates local officials. How, in general, the local security forces are irritated by the lack of trust on the part of the Center (otherwise why would they send a separate group of investigators?)

Lavrov has a serious conflict with Shoigu over Indian “legionnaires”

The Indian military in the ranks of the Russian Army has become the subject of serious tension between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense.

The fact is that Sergei Lavrov, on the verge of hysteria, demands that the Ministry of Defense do everything so that the Indians return home, but Sergei Shoigu is against it.

“It’s no secret that there are a lot of foreigners fighting in the Northern Military District zone. And not only from neighboring countries, but also Africans, Asians, Brazilians, and so on. There were problems with the Nepalese publicly, but many other countries also contacted us about the participation of their citizens in the war,” explained a source in the Foreign Ministry.

He emphasized that by sending Indians to their homeland, Russia will have several problems at once: already attracted foreigners may also want to break contracts, and it will be more difficult to get new recruits.

However, interlocutors in military circles hint that Shoigu’s position is categorical for another reason. The refusal to return Indian citizens is due to **the fact that the real number of deaths in the NWO zone is significantly higher than official statistics say**. At least 53 Indian citizens have been unofficially confirmed dead, and at least a 100 more were injured.

Moreover, the unpreparedness of Indian legionnaires for specific conditions has led to the fact that cases of “hazing” have been recorded.

One of the commanders told us that not far from Avdiivka, 3 Indians, as a result of a conflict with the command, were raped in front of 7 more foreigners. The victims had a hard time with the incident; one of them tried to shoot his colleagues, but in the end was severely beaten.

Now the military command faces a dilemma - if they return the Indians home, there is a risk that they will repeat the story of the Serb Dejan Beric and tell the press about everything. If you don’t return it, relations with strategic partners will deteriorate, which Lavrov does not want to allow.

This problem has reached the Kremlin, but who and how will solve it is still unclear.

There will be news of Putin’s poor health and imminent death

This post was very much asked to publish a high-ranking source in the Kremlin. According to him, there is a group of influential people who want turmoil in Russia.

In the AP there are people who, let’s say, do not want Vladimir Vladimirovich to remain in power for a long time. They have allies among those military personnel who seek the speedy completion of the SVO. This group of people is now muting the water in every possible way, our interlocutor said.

According to him, soon, neat for the elections, news about the poor health and even the imminent death of Vladimir Vladimirovich may be thrown in. There will be other steps against the stability of the state. And this despite the fact that Vladimir Vladimirovich feels great and is ready to lead Russia for a long time.

The source did not name the pest, but said that he passed all the information about them there, I needed to. And he hopes that Putin’s enemies will not use the elections to “throw Russia into chaos.”

By the way, it was these opponents of the President, according to the interlocutor, who could have sent information through foreign embassies and diplomats about the threat of terrorist attacks in Moscow.

We’ve got it all on the nerves. Those who want the authorities and are trying to harm Vladimir Vladimirovich, can not only arrange a terrorist attack, and, for example, enemy drones on the capital.

“And I would be careful not only in the next few days, but all the time before the election. I hope nothing will happen, but vigilance has never interfered,” said our source.
