The “independent “ is the part that needs investigated, just like black robed “independent”judges.

You people really do hate Trump

NEW: The DOJ alleged in a late-Monday motion that would-be Trump assassin Ryan Routh ATTEMPTED TO BUY A ROCKET LAUNCHER FROM A UKRAINIAN ASSOCIATE weeks before his Sept. 15 attempt.

"I need equipment so that Trump cannot get elected," Routh allegedly told his Ukrainian associate.

The DOJ also claimed that Routh was in touch with a Mexican human trafficker about smuggling Afghans into the U.S.-- and later about escaping the country after he killed Trump--and that he used stolen license plates and fake names such as “John White” and “Brian Wilson.”

"The “independent “ is the part that needs investigated, just like black robed “independent”judges."

The US Constitution authorizes Congress to establish lower courts, which means those courts basically answer to Congress, not to the President.
Congress can make rules governing courts and can disestablish courts at will -- with the President's approval.

The US Constitution does not authorize Congress to set up "independent" agencies such as the Federal Reserve outside the control of the President.

My problem with this situation is that, while I want solid Republican presidents like Pres. Trump, to control the Fed, I don't want lunatic Democrats to ever touch them.

This whole situation is a major reason why Pres. Andrew Jackson totally abolished the US National Bank and paid off the national debt.
And the US managed for over 80 years with no National Bank and a relatively minimum debt, even after the massive costs of the Civil War!

Then came the Progressive Era, circa 1890 - 1920.
