There were at least six major battles, prior to Napoleon's 1812 invasion of Russia, where Russian forces joined France's enemies, including:

1. 1805 -- Battle of Dürenstein, Austria
2. 1805 -- Battle of Austerlitz, Austria
3. 1806 -- Battle of Pultusk, Poland
4. 1807 -- Battle of Eylau, East Prussia
5. 1807 -- Battle of Heilsberg, East Prussia
6. 1807 -- Battle of Friedland, East Prussia

In each case, Russian forces were far from Russia, attacking French forces long before Napoleon even thought about invading Russia, years later.

At Austerlich, for example, 80% of Allied Army forces were Russian.
At Friedland, 100% of forces opposing Napoleon were Russians.

At Waterloo 60%(maybe 40%?) of the winning troops over Napoleon were German, but the British have managed to snag most or all of the victory credit. As you show here, the Russians have not been shy in the past with travels to the west outside their boundaries. And Putin has decided not to be shy either, although he does seem to be doing a bit of hiding these days from public view.
