This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Belousov instructed to punish military personnel who “spread rumors” about the imminent completion of the SVO
We wrote : there are quite active rumors at the front that the SVO will end soon, no later than the beginning of next year. This situation worried the Minister of Defense personally.
Andrei Belousov ordered to “mercilessly suppress” any public conversations on this topic among the military, especially directly at the front.
“Yes, everyone understands that there may be negotiations. is also planned partial demobilization. But this does not mean that you need to relax and expect that everything will end soon. I will say more: such expectations have a bad effect on the morale of the army.
“If a soldier thinks that everything will end soon, he may not fully fulfill his duty. Somewhere not to attack, somewhere to hide. Not out of malice, but on a subconscious level, he will think more about himself than about Victory. How far will we go like this? - explained a source in the Ministry of Defense.
“If in the DPR, where we are attacking, the fighters are in high spirits, and they are unlikely to be influenced by expectations about some kind of completion of the Northern Military District, then in the Kursk or, say, Kherson regions it could be much worse,” he added.
In this regard, Belousov ordered that “strict disciplinary sanctions” be applied to those who spread rumors about the imminent completion of the SVO.
The Ministry of Defense admits that now **some commanders can send to certain death** those who will actively talk about the imminent peace.
“Andrei Removich understands the threat. And he instructed us to develop measures that would make such actions by commanders impossible,” the source assured us.
We noticed that not only the military, but also politicians are talking about the imminent completion of the SVO. For example, Ramzan Kadyrov. “Unfortunately, we cannot punish them. Although Kadyrov himself deserved to be hit on the head. Maybe like no one deserves it. But we can only influence those who are in our power,” answered the interlocutor at the Ministry of Defense.

MOSCOW, December 5. /TASS/. Russia’s former Prime Minister Sergey Stepashin believes that US President-elect Donald Trump will halt serious financial support to the Kiev regime because he would rather spend the money to fix problems on the US soil.
"He [Trump] is absolutely not interested in spending billions for the needs of others. He is a businessman, and he views his own country’s domestic problems as a priority," Stepashin told TASS.
Politico earlier reported that US lawmakers on November 25 received a request from Biden to allocate $24 billion for Ukraine. According to the report, Washington wants to use $16 billion of that money to replenish the US stockpiles of weapons that were previously sent to Kiev. Another $8 billion would fund the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, which allows the US Department of Defense to conclude contracts with manufacturers, rather than drawing down equipment and weapons from inventories.

Thought for the day:
Some say when Trump won, the Ukraine permanently lost 20% of their land.
I disagree.
It's closer to 30%.

Very high level talks between the Government of Ukraine, and the incoming Trump Administration, just took place.
Kyiv Independent reports:
“A Ukrainian delegation, led by Presidential Office head Andriy Yermak, met with top incoming government officials as well as aides to President-elect Donald Trump in Washington on Dec. 4, various media outlets reported.
Yermak, alongside Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova, met with Vice President-elect JD Vance on Capitol Hill, the Washington Post reported, ahead of the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump.
The delegation, which reportedly included Defense Minister Rustem Umerov and Economy Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, also met with incoming U.S. National Security Adviser Mike Waltz and Ukraine peace envoy Keith Kellogg on Capitol Hill, a source told Reuters.
A meeting between Yermak and Trump’s incoming Chief of Staff Susie Wiles was also held on Dec. 4, Ukrainska Pravda reported.
Ukrainska Pravda also reported, citing its sources, that Yermak had travelled to Florida to further meet with incoming officials, although it unclear as to who Yermak had met with while in the state.”

Presidential Office head Andriy Yermak is a Russian plant and everybody in UKR knows that. Negotiating with him is bad news for UKR.
Yermak is responsible for removing the mine fields along the border with Crimea just before Russian troops of the 57th Army crossed into UKR with no casualties. [ see #4 below ]
Yermak’s father is Colonel or Major in Central Intelligence of the RGF. The father lives in Russia where he and his son have a business with a well-connected Russian businessman who is an advisor to a Senator (upper chamber) of the Russian Parliament. He is well connected to the Russian political ruling class and specifically, close to Putin’s inner circle.
Yermak’s major supported in the US is Jake Sullivan.
Yermak wants to directly control both the SBU and the AG agencies. He has already appointed acting heads to both agencies, and because they are appointed, they are easily manipulated.
US Representative ( now gone ) Victoria Spartz allegations:
Spartz laid out six major allegations against Yermak:
1. Leaking information to Belarus and ultimately to Russia on Ukraine’s operation to capture the “Wagner Group”, which led to its failure;
2. Mismanaging failed peace negotiations with Russia before the war;
3. Assuring Ukrainian leadership that no attack by Russia was going to happen this February, contrary to western intelligence, to prevent Ukraine from properly preparing for the war;
4. Sabotaging Kherson and giving it to the Russians to set up the “Azov” battalion tragedy;
5. Delaying purchases of urgent military equipment through the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and demanding unreasonable or even illegal terms;
6. Purposely delaying through Deputy Oleg Tatarov the appointment of an independent anti-corruption prosecutor.

Russian advantage in Artillery fire has declined from in excess of 30-1 early in the war, to just 1.5-1 now. Trying to make up for that loss in firepower with glide bombs, and of course, more meat waves.
Kyiv Independent reports:
“Russia’s artillery advantage against Ukraine is diminishing, dropping to 1.5 rounds for each Ukrainian shell, Sky News reported on Dec. 5, citing unnamed Western officials.
Previously, Russian shells outnumbered Ukrainian ammunition by a minimum ratio of five to one.
The current decline is due to a “wide variety of factors,” Western officials told Sky News on the condition of anonymity. These include production and transport difficulties, along with Ukrainian drone strikes against ammunition depots.
Shipments of Western ammunition supplies have also helped Ukraine level out the disparity.
Russia is still finding other ways to maintain fighting power, officials said, pointing to Russia’s increased use of glide bombs.
There has been a “massive increase in Russian glide bomb use on the front line to devastating effect,” one official said.”

Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, December 5, 2024
Russian Chief of the General Staff Army General Valery Gerasimov undermined the Kremlin's information operation to portray Russia's November 21 Oreshnik ballistic missile strike against Ukraine as a defensive response to the US permitting Ukraine to conduct strikes in Russia with US-provided ATACMS missiles. US officials confirmed that Gerasimov called US Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Charles Q. Brown Jr. on November 27.[7] The New York Times (NYT) reported, citing unspecified officials, that Gerasimov told Brown that Russia had planned the Oreshnik missile launch well ahead of the US decision to allow Ukraine to strike military targets in Russia with US-provided ATACMS.[8] Western media noted that Gerasimov also warned Brown about Russian military exercises in the Mediterranean Sea, but that Gerasimov did not “explicitly mention” that Russian forces would launch hypersonic missiles during the exercises. US military spokespeople confirmed to Western media that the call occurred but did not provide details on the conversation. Russian President Vladimir Putin and other Kremlin officials have notably attempted to use the Oreshnik ballistic missile and its test launch on November 21 as part of an information operation that Russia is escalating the war in Ukraine in response to the US lifting its restrictions on Ukraine's use of Western-provided weapons against military targets in Russia.[9] Gerasimov’s statement to Brown, if accurate, directly undermined this ongoing information operation by admitting that the Oreshnik launch was not connected to Ukrainian strikes into Russia with Western-provided weapons as Putin explicitly claimed in an emergency address immediately following the strike.[10]
Russian-North Korean military cooperation will likely continue to intensify in the coming months following the formal commencement of their comprehensive strategic partnership agreement on December 4. North Korean and Russian state media reported that the strategic partnership agreement ensuring “international strategic stability” and a “fair world order” between North Korea and Russia entered into force on December 4.[11] Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un signed the strategic partnership agreement in Pyongyang on June 19 and Putin and Jong-un ratified the strategic partnership agreement on November 9 and 11, respectively.[12] ISW has extensively reported on the strengthening of Russian-North Korean bilateral relations since late 2022 that began with Russia discreetly purchasing missiles and ammunition from Pyongyang, to then facilitating performative diplomatic engagements, and most recently resulting in North Korea's deployment of over 10,000 North Korean soldiers to fight alongside Russian forces in Kursk Oblast.[13] Russia and North Korea are likely to leverage the commencement of their strategic comprehensive partnership agreement to formalize and expand their avenues of cooperation in the coming months.

“Packs his bags” and “fawns over an American.” Lavrov surprised many with his interview with Tucker Carlson
A number of our sources in the Kremlin and the government are surprised by Sergey Lavrov’s interview with journalist Tucker Carlson. And they see in it, at a minimum, the minister's desire to leave his post (the head of the MFA, as we wrote, has been trying to do this for a long time, but Vladimir Putin is not letting him go).
“Sergey Viktorovich said several strange things. On the one hand, he put forward conditions for ending the Ukrainian conflict. Which is probably correct. On the other hand, he made many surprising and alarming statements. He said that Crimea could be Ukrainian (how is that even possible??? ), stated that the Americans were not afraid of the “ Oreshnik “ and did not consider its launch something large-scale (and why was all this necessary? ). And he even called the United States a great country. Somehow it all sounded so-so ,” said one of the channel's interlocutors.
Another noted the same strange moments and believes that our minister's interview was a failure. “What did the Americans hear? That they are a great country, and we want to be friends with them, respect them. Lavrov even fawned over Carlson at times. Maybe I'm exaggerating somewhere, but he definitely wanted to show how friendly he is. And Carlson is an American. Do you really need to fawn over an American and compliment him, the head of the Foreign Ministry of such a great country as Russia?” a source in the Kremlin was surprised.
Why was the interview perceived exactly like that? The opinions of our interlocutors were divided. Some believe that Lavrov deliberately made some unfortunate statements so that the president would get angry with him and fire him. “There are rumors that Sergei Viktorovich is already packing his bags,” said one of the sources.
Others are sure that the head of the Foreign Ministry sent a signal to Trump's team. Like, “here I am, I know a lot, I consider America a great country, and it is quite possible to communicate with me. Of course, by offering something in return.” We don't know if this version is true. But we hope that it will be checked by the competent authorities. It certainly won't be superfluous. At the same time, we should note: a number of sources liked Lavrov’s interview. In particular, the fact that he said “important things about the inadmissibility of a nuclear war” and “generally represented Russia with dignity to the Americans.” But let's be honest, there are fewer such opinions.
