Attack On Europe: Documenting Russian Equipment Losses During The 2022 Russian Invasion Of Ukraine (2 year anniversary)

This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

“my immediate thought is 1 month is extremely optimistic” (to launch a Telegram replacement)

Downright sadistic. Whoever gets the job will fail in that timeframe - but it will generally light a fire under their butts to get moving.

Bet they wish they had a few thousand of those IT workers who left Russia to avoid the draft.

That is a typical Russian reaction when you are exposing something. We can expect interesting info the coming weeks.

Moscow region, Russia

Sabotage 🔥🔥🔥💨

Resistance activists of the Freedom of Russia movement burned down another relay cabinet of the Central Signaling and Communications Bureau in Lyubertsy (Moscow Region).

"There are more and more such actions. The scale is growing. And each such arson is a problem with logistics = weakening of Putin's regime and +1 step towards Free Russia," the movement writes.

My guess is that ruzzia is/was using Telegram for secure communications all the way up to putin and down to unit level.

The entire Ukraine war plan could exist somewhere in Telegram's data storage farm.

Clearly, ruzzia is worried that Pavel Durov will give France the back door password to all of this data.

IMHO, this is the only rationale for putin's order to delete all Telegram data/files.

🚁🇺🇦 The crew of Ukrainian Mi-24 shoots down "Shahed-136" during the morning attack!

In the video, the Mi-24 and the Shahed are above small arms effective range.

Also, helicopters can cover a larger area than ground based short range surface to air systems such as the Flakpanzer Gepard.

Maybe Russia has access to all messages in Telegram and they don’t want it revealed.

Russian blogger:

Putin ordered to study whether we can completely turn off the lights in Ukraine. And Belousov is satisfied and “will continue to pray”

The president gave the order to study the possibility of completely destroying the enemy's energy sector after reporting on the results of a large-scale missile strike on Ukraine. “I would like to know whether we can completely leave Ukraine without electricity. I understand the ambitiousness of the task, but it is important,” said Vladimir Vladimirovich. He noted that achieving this goal, among other things, could affect Kiev's readiness for negotiations. And he made it clear that these negotiations would not hurt us now, a source in the Kremlin said.

Opinions on this order were divided. A number of sources among the military claim that “the task is not very realistic.” “Plus there are many risks. For example, that the West will again throw air defense systems to the Kiev regime. Or that Western weapons will be used against us not only in the Kursk region. And right now it will be difficult for us to respond to NATO's actions. But we will study the issue. Although, to completely deprive Ukraine of electricity... I don't know,” said the interlocutor among the generals.

At the same time, Andrei Belousov believes in the possibility of the complete destruction of the enemy's energy sector. The Minister of Defense is very pleased with the results of the massive strike on Ukraine and is confident that now Vladimir Vladimirovich will forgive him for many things, in particular, what happened in the Kursk region. “Andrei Removich believes that God and our weapons saved him from resignation. He will continue to work and pray fervently. Today's strike, when we inflicted serious losses on the enemy, confirms that these prayers were heard. We will work to fulfill all of Vladimir Vladimirovich's tasks. Including those related to energy,” a source close to Belousov in the Ministry of Defense told us

I believe you are mistaken. This looks more like a creative new Russian effort to produce hybrid vehicles by mating a helicopter with a land mobile vehicle. Of course I could be wrong, and it is an example of; a Russian helicopter raping a helpless land vehicle. Actually, more their style. Who knew Putin’s army could be so imaginative or so unkind?

Be careful what you wish for, Ukraine would have a difficult time doing the same, but they could be very effective in the nether regions and perhaps even a big hit on Moscow and St. Petersburg energy infrastructure

Putin is the great protector, if lights go out in Moscow people will know despite the “everything is fine” RT narrative

Sergei Bratchuk confirmed that the 810th Brigade of Crimean Marines, after their "successful" rotations on the Left Bank, was redeployed to the Kursk Front.

There, they quickly received a deserved thrashing from HIMARS, and many soldiers ended up in captivity. This is the so-called "heroic" struggle of the Sevastopol marines—lies and defeat on all fronts.

"...but they could be very effective in the nether regions..."

I believe UKF are waiting for winter weather to set in before turning out the lights in the "nether regions."

The Russian terrorist attack was massive. 127 missiles and 109 strike UAVs were used. The Ukrainian defense was impressive. 86% of the incoming Russian aerial vehicles were neutralized.

- 1 of 3 Kh-47M2 "Kinzhal" missiles
- 1 of 6 "Iskander-M"/KN-23 ballistic missiles
- 99 out of 115 Kh-101, Kh-59/Kh-69, Kalibr
- 1 of 3 Kh-22 cruise missiles
- 99 out of 109 Shaheds

The 14%, which made it through, once again emphasized that it is time to kill the archer. The war must be carried deeper into Russia.

https://x.com/Tendar/status/1828100440493380054

My guess is most of the 99 cruise missiles were shot down by F-16s.

Ukrainska Pravda reports on the Kavkaz oil depot near the town of Proletarsk:

“Radio Liberty analysed a satellite image taken at 14:41 local time on Sunday (25 Aug). The fire had reached the fourth row of tanks on the left-hand side. According to one version of Russian Telegram channels, explosive kerosene may be stored in this part of the tank farm...

...Another strike, according to unconfirmed reports, was carried out after the fire had started, on 23 August...

...The smoke from the fire stretches for more than 60 kilometres in the sky, but Rostov Oblast authorities say there is no threat to human health or deterioration in air quality.”

Judging by the issues Russian infrastructure had last winter with little to no help from Ukrainian strikes, even without “help” it is not going to be good

But I am sure we will see many videos of Russian people praying to their dear leader to save them

This attack was a major fail by Russia. They expected widespread destruction would be caught on video in daylight for propaganda purposes. That didn’t happen. A massively expensive fail.
