‘Threat to Democracy’
Hopefully they’re right - we need to go back to being a Republic.
I think that nearly everytime I see that phrase “Theat to Democracy”.
When I hear that from someone, I make a judgement about them instantly. That snap judgement may be disproven, but I still make it.
The biggest threat to ‘democracy’ is the ‘democracy’ of the mob that controls it. I hear ‘democracy’ and I think back to the French Revolution, the mythical Madam Defarge and the guillotine mobs.
