Hopefully it’s true.
But they are walking away from money if they do this. There needs to be a compensation fund for lost loads.
Actually, no. There are more than enough loads destined for other locations. So they won't be losing money by BOYCOTTING NYC.
Yeah, I’m wondering how their tactic will be used to bite them in the rear by politicians. Leftists do not lose these days. Only minor setbacks.
They’re gently coaxing the Appellate Division, and, in turn, the New York Court of Appeals (New York’s highest court), on, is all. Shouldn’t take too long, now, should it?
“ There needs to be a compensation fund for lost loads.” I agree! Another idea would be to start a go fund me campaign to help businesses move off of New York! Maybe you do both. Pay truckers to not deliver and assist companies to relocate.
“But they are walking away from money if they do this. There needs to be a compensation fund for lost loads.”
There are plenty of other loads out there. The load to trucker capacity is not 1:1.
I believe the majority of truckers are not independent, and I don't expect the trucking companies will go along.
There should be a premium put on NYC loads. We truck and you couldn’t pay us enough to go east coast (Midwest)
There are plenty of loads going to free states that truckers should move first before taking even a single load to a democrat hellhole! Any truckers doing otherwise need to be held accountable by the other truckers.
The loads and costs will shift around. If only 25% of the rigs that are permitted boycott NYC then the cost to get loads in will go up a bunch. If it gets to 50% they will suffer high prices and shortages. If it hits 75% then NYC is in trouble. We will see.
