Climate change scientists are so desperate to stop the Sun’s rays from reaching the Earth that they plan to launch massive umbrellas into space to reduce the Earth’s exposure to our closest star.
According to climate scientists, large parasols could be placed above the Earth’s atmosphere to block out the Sun’s rays, reducing the intensity of sunlight to stop “climate change” and “global warming.”

Communists are really good at solving imaginary problems which always cause real catastrophes.
In the old days, we only had to worry about the UN-intended consequences of all the bright ideas our betters dreamed up...
I don’t know about global warming but I like the milder winters. If we could all have Florida’s weather in the winter I’d take it
This plan sounds a lot like something a concept artist known as Christo would have wanted to do back in the 1980s.
Chrito, or Christo Vladimrov Javacheff 1935-2020, was known for wrapping or draping entire cities with fabic.
The fabric was usually all one color.
People stared, pointed and often laughed, but they called it Art anyway.
AND the only need a trillion US tax dollars to study this.
I remember the 1970s and THE COMING ICE AGE! The plan then was to mine coal, grind it to dust and spread it on the ice caps to increase the temp of the earth and stop THE COMING ICE AGE!
The northern part of the US was supposed to be under permanent ice by now.
BUT THEN WE STOPPED THE COMING ICE AGE IN IT’S TRACKS!

Changing the weather intentionally or otherwise weather modification..(Earth cooling vs Greenhouse effect)
“Do you suppose we can learn enough, soon enough, to pull off a balancing act with the CO2 blanket saving us from another ice age?”
****
AND WE DID IT!
Even if they could do it, what gives them the right to?
I happen to like a warmer earth. A warmer earth is not catastrophic. A colder earth absolutely could be.
That should work. The giant magnifying glass they used in the 70’s prevented an ice age.
