I never even considered a job with United, but certainly not now. This CEO is really endangering that industry. I may quite likely not fly anyway, but if I did, it certainly would no be on UNITED. Too big a risk. Working there is also not on my list.

When you are selling something to the public, “pandering” is pretty much a necessity in many cases.
United still has enough straight white men to safely land their airplanes. But for how long?

Which is why I don’t want their job. If someone else hires me it’ll be because I’m a good pilot, not because I’m a woman.
Far too many boards out there filled with friends and acquaintances. Or worse yet, boards with a dozen plus people. If it takes that many people to provide oversight on strategy, direction, or course of action for a company; the wrong people are on the board
If they sell that, more will not buy than buy.
