The two have reportedly been clashing over war strategy, especially on what to do about the crisis in northern Israel, an area which has come under daily rocket and drone attack from Lebanese Hezbollah.

Northern Command Chief Gordin has called on the Israeli government to authorize a takeover of Lebanese territory to create a buffer zone against Hezbollah.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finalized its aggressive emissions rules for America’s power plants in April, saying at the time that the regulations would “improve public health without disrupting the delivery of reliable electricity.” However, four major regional grid operators argued the exact opposite in an amicus brief filed in support of red states’ legal challenge against the rule, stating explicitly that the rules will jeopardize Americans’ ability to reliably secure sufficient amounts of power if they are enforced as is.
“Their proffered brief outlines in detail that without additional modification, the compliance timelines and related provisions of the Rule are not workable and are destined to trigger an acceleration in the pace of premature retirements of electric generation units that possess critical reliability attributes at the very time when such generation is needed to support ever-increasing electricity demand because of the growth of the digital economy and the need to ensure adequate back-up generation to support an increasing amount of intermittent renewable generation,” the grid operators wrote in their amicus brief. “Such inevitable and foreseeable premature retirement decisions resulting from the Rule’s timelines will substantially strain each of the Joint [independent system operators’] / [regional transmission organizations’] ability to maintain the reliability of the electric power grid to meet the needs of the citizenry and the country’s economy.”
OBSERVATION - I’ve noted a lot in this category the efforts at various levels to implement the globalist agenda to deprive the world of clean, dependable energy. This is not the first time the EPA has overstepped its regulatory bounds to inflict damage to the fossil fuel industry. David Muir claimed to have spoken to the Springfield City Manager during the debate. Fact is he lied again. ABC News falsely claimed the Springfield City Manager refuted Trump’s debate statement. The manager admits that there were complaints in March of Haitians eating pets. There are call reports that corroborates the complaints.
RELATED - The Aug. 26 phone call to the Springfield police related to Haitian goose hunting at a local park was one of two incidents recorded by Ohio authorities, according to the state Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).
On Friday, the state agency released a statement to local media that another caller reported a group of Haitians grabbing wildlife from a Clark County park and stuffing the animals in a trash bag.

OBSERVATION - Boom. DeSantis makes a clear and critical point. Assigning a prosecutor involved in a case against Trump to ‘investigate’ the assassination attempt is cold blooded foolishness. In exchange, Russian Ministry of Defense claims shooting down 54 drones overnight.
Russia was unsuccessful in stopping Ukraine drones from hitting the Toropets arsenal. The large Russsian missile and ammunition storage facility suffered multiple, massive secondary explosions. Outlook —
Overwhelmed by the Israeli pager attack is the massive successful hit on the Toropets ammo dump. By the reported size of secondary explosions, Russian missiles and related must have been directly hit and those secondaries hit other bunkers, setting them off as well. OSINT photos in the next few days will reveal the extent of damage.

Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah to deliver speech tomorrow, Thursday, after pager explosions in Lebanon.
The Lebanese government suspends studies in schools, institutes and universities today, Wednesday
PAGER ATTACK BREAKDOWN
3:30 pm local, over 4000 pagers detonated all across Lebanon and even Syria. The explosions resulted death of 12 and the wounding of around 4000, including 400 in critical condition. Up to 500 Hezbollah security personnel lost one or both of their eyes according to reports from AlHadath. This last figure includes the Iranian ambassador to Lebanon who reportedly lost one eye and had his other eye severely damaged.
According to a Saudi report, 19 members of the Revolutionary Guards were killed and 150 wounded in yesterday’s pagers attack in Syria, yesterday.
Hospitals throughout Lebanon were overwhelmed by wounded.
The Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Jarida reported that three of Nasrallah’s bodyguards were mortally wounded in yesterday’s beeper blasts. According to the newspaper, Nasrallah himself was not injured. Unconfirmed reports that Naim Qassem, Hezbollah’s #2, was injured in this operation.
Many wounds resulted from the pagers being carried in the front pockets - emasculating many. Photos of the some of the wounded showed gaping wounds the size of one’s fist in waist/abdomen areas.
The pagers were bought by Hezbollah and distributed to members and other designated, affiliated personnel.
The pagers that exploded in Lebanon and Syria were made by Budapest-based BAC Consulting KFT, according to a statement released by Taiwanese company Gold Apollo, whose branding appeared on the devices (AP924 Model Pager). According to Sky News Arabia; Mossad was able to inject between 20-40 grams of Pentaerythritol Tetranitrate (PETN) into the lithium batteries. Additionally, software/firmware was altered to allow them to be remotely detonated when a specific signal was received that caused the lithium battery to overheat and detonate the PETN. The batch was reportedly imported about 5 months ago.
Reports are coming out that the plan was to have the devices explode concurrently with Israeli action to enter southern Lebanon. However, several Hezbollah members - apparently affiliated with the pager program - became suspicious of the devices and threatened the plan, so it was executed prematurely.
Hezbollah recently began to emphasize use of pagers as well as couriers and hardwired landlines for security reasons. In July, Israel took out one of the main leaders of Hezbollah in Beirut by tracking his cellphone. The result was the banning of cellphone use by Hezbollah. These Gold Apollo units reportedly had untraceable systems and were encrypted in that text messages received were scrambled.
Immediate impact on Hezbollah was and continues to be one of shock and bewilderment. The scale of this counter terror operation is simply mind boggling. Hezbollah is scrambling to establish who has been wounded/killed and reestablishing some form of secure communications.

Israel yesterday spoke in the language the Arabs understand - force and strength.
Reportedly, behind the scenes many big Arab countries are extremely impressed with Israel.
Beeper attack not only neutralized thousands of terrorists, it also imposed huge financial costs on Hezbollah. It now has to compensate & rehabilitate them for long years to come. Failing to do so would stir mass resentment among thousands of families who are already upset.
The scope of this action will definitely force Hezbollah into a large response - however, with their communications plan hammered and many other leaders seriously wounded any retaliatory attack would likely be very disjointed. Israel OTOH may take this as the excuse to launch into S Lebanon. As noted, the pager attack was originally timed to coincide with the kickoff of ground operations. Now the IDF is behind the power curve and has only days to exploit the current situation. Hence the acceleration of war indicators noted above.
My best guesstimate is that Israel will kick things off by this weekend. Israel has enough active duty and activated reserves to initiate ground operations with the called up reserves serving as follow-on and operational reserves. They have to strike while the iron is hot - they may not have such a favorable opportunity again in the near future.

He called it an example of “mass murder” which violates international law, especially international humanitarian law, and warrants iinternational criminal prosecution, trial, and punishment
