Harvard should fire black progressive Claudine Gay, and replace her with black conservative Carol Swain, the person whom Gay has plagiarized.
I second that motion! Dr. Swain is awesome!
Sounds “nice,” but is just another bit of pandering.
They just need to get someone in that has a brain and is generally fair—not go to the opposite extreme to “balance” something.
I tell you what. Liberals don’t want Donald Trump for President, offer him a carrot of Harvard President. He might drop out.

I agree. Gay should have stayed in her own lane. Carol Swain would be able to handle the Harvard president’s job and I know she could bring back Harvard’s reputation by dumping some of the troublemakers there. Ms. Swain would be a great president for the school primarily due to her being AN AMERICAN!
Long odds of that happening. Gay represents Harvard and the leftist values of academia in general. If anything they’ll replace her with someone similar or worse.

A better idea: how about firing Gay, then for a replacement seek out the best qualified candidate without respect to gender, ethnicity, or race? And make sure the replacement is anti-Woke.
