Dec. 18 (UPI) -- Keith Richards is celebrating two new milestones -- his 80th birthday and his 40th wedding anniversary.
The Rolling Stones guitarist turned 80 years old on Monday and also marked 40 years of marriage with his wife, Patti Hansen.
The Rolling Stones honored Richards with a tribute on social media.
"Happy birthday to the one and only @officialKeef! Wishing you the most special of days Keith! Keep on rocking," the post reads.

Any favorite Stones songs? Mine is "Paint it Black."
(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction.
Get offa my cloud, followed by 19th Nervous Breakdown. So many classics from the 60s
The bad news... 40 years ago Richards looked like he was 80... The good news... Today he still looks like he’s 80.
Rock on, Keith.
His autobiography, “Life” is one of the best ones I’ve read.
Shattered.
Given today in NYC, it’s still relevant.
A lot of critics list ‘Gimme Shelter’ as the best Stones song. There are a ton of good songs, I would go with ‘Rocks Off’, at least on a lot of days it’s my favorite.
Honky Tonk Women....................
Yeah, picking a favorite with these guys is hard. My parents had the English single of ‘Play with Fire’- when I was a kid... for a long time that is all I knew of the Stones - so that is my sentimental favorite. I love ‘Paint it Black’ for it’s innovative touches... including of course that sitar..
Prime has a good documentary on Keith also. He makes no bones that he prefers traditional blues music now to what he thinks of as the Stone’s ‘Rock/pop...’
Lots of great ones but Monkey Man and their cover of It’s All Over Now are two of my favs.
He commemorated the event by saying “mmm rellly hmmpy too rnjoyy thus anneverrsrry”
Getting married to a keeper at 40 probably explains his mysterious longevity.
Awesome. He does not look a day over 102.
Fun fact: The Stones’ 2024 tour is sponsored by ....
AARP
heh... ‘the Strolling Bones’ as Matt Drudge likes to call them...
I’m actually stunned at how good Ron Wood is looking these days.
That is a good one. He can sure play the piano too.
I have an off-brand telecaster that I keep in open g with 5 strings for when I feel Keefish.
