The footprint, which measured around 9 inches in width, was found in a patch of mud in Ritchie County. There are few cryptozoological creatures that have generated as much debate and intrigue over the years as Bigfoot - a large hairy hominid said to roam the remote forests of North America.
For many, Bigfoot is little more than a myth, while for others, its existence is undisputed - often due to a personal experience that has left little doubt in that person's mind that the creature is the real deal.
One individual who would seem to fall firmly into the latter category is Chuck Headley from West Virginia who recently took to the Bigfoot Believers Facebook group to post up a couple of snaps of something that he believed to be evidence of the creature's existence.
What he had found was a large five-toed footprint measuring approximately 9 inches in width.
It appears to be where water ran off some mud. Someone thought it looked like a footprint, but it really doesn’t.
The alleged ‘author’ of the print would have had five toes and a thumb-like, seventh appendage, never observed in nature and/or archaic fossil foot-prints.
Absolutely fake, in my opinion.
Stacey Abrams or Chris Christie visiting there?
In that much mud, the indentation of the ball of the foot and the big toe would be much deeper.
That too.
And by now he would be suing the government looking for reparations. Not a lot, just enough to open a casino.
If it exists, its likely to be a hominid not a human.
Agree, that print picture is a very poor.
Thats what I got out of it, too. Just run off that found its own way.
Wow! Finally someone didn’t happen to forget his camera.
Bttt.
Not enough there due to what looks like slippage of the foot. Bigfoot has very definitive bone structure features on the bottom of the feet, which “flex” in a way humans can’t, and those “toes” don’t look right at all compared to typical claimed bigfoot photos/casts.
Looks more like human sized toes that slid partially over the front of a flipflop. Flipflop/foot then slid backwards, hiding sole detail.
Just one?

Some old boy is chuckling about how much fun you can have with a set of Bigfoot shoes
Ya mean, Daryl?
Thirty five posts and not one picture of Mooch and no mention of Gooney Goo Goo.
Come on Freepers!
Sorry, this is ridiculous. We have no Big Foot in West Virginia, only Big Ass and he lives in the Governor’s mansion.
Yet he evaded the many trail cameras in the area.
That’s ridiculous. It’s hardly a “footprint”. In conditions that muddy, there would be more “evidence” anyway.
"Now where did I leave my slippers?" |
