To: where's_the_Outrage?

I just don’t get Bama’s selection. They lost to Texas.

That alone should disqualify them from the playoff.

I admit that Alabama has some serious chops as they showed against Georgia but still...

And Texas lost to Oklahoma that didn't make their conference playoff game. Who has the worst loss?

That said I would not be surprised if the final is TX-Bama.

There is a very easy explanation. ESPN has a financial interest in the SEC. So Alabama is in because ESPN makes money. st in

It’s really simple, the ‘committee’ wanted an SEC team, there are many reasons. Mostly though better TV revenue in the future and especially the sport’s MSM along with the associated schools/coaches went on about it for weeks. We will never know if FS is better than Alabama but as a diehard Wolverine fan for decades they are looking to play the best and Alabama isn’t it.
