If AI is so smart, let it tell us whether the 2020 election was fixed, or whether Fauci was lying. Statistical analysis has evolved sufficiently in the age of supercomputers to answer such questions.

For a while now I have been doing math instead of crossword puzzles to keep my mind sharp. I use an AI math site occasionally to help me do proofs. It's pretty amazing so far.
Here's the site I use...mathway.com
I think AI is a tool. Like the internet in general, it can be used for good or evil.

Yeah, but you know it’ll be programmed to give leftist propaganda.

My robo-calls (with fake call back numbers) have increased, I get 5 to 10 per day now. I turn my ringer on mute regularly. The “do not call” program that dubya instituted doesn’t get the job done either.

As an aside, the Left thinks AI is racist and right-wing. Here's an example...
A.I. has a discrimination problem. In banking, the consequences can be severe
The problem is that AI doesn't give a damn about preferences and racism. In banking at least, AI calls 'em as it sees 'em. If you've got good credit or live where people in general have good credit, you get treated accordingly.
If you're a credit risk, regardless of your minority status, you are shoved aside.

At its *worst* AI will be a big force-multiplier for the human mind. For example, it may result in a cure for cancer becoming available in 10 years vs. 100 years.
AI also represents a significant threat. All an AI needs to work tremendous mischief is the ability to surf the web and send emails, which I'm sure is just around the corner.
The good news is that, looking at my fellow human beings marching in streets around the world in support of terrorism, AI might not be so bad.

AI has been helpful in generating some Java routines, but the stagnant content of the current Chat GPT 3.5 language model is rapidly becoming stale with respect to improvements in many frameworks.
