Why do I feel like at times we’re not getting the whole backstory to these articles?
snoop dogs?
What the heck! Why would these dogs do this? I’ve never heard of dogs being destructive without a reason like feeling abandoned when their human goes out of the house for a while.
I’d hate to be the owner/owners of said dogs.
They’ve figured out that it’s easier than chasing them.
No way five low end cars are worth $350k, not even today. Insurance scam?
They’re trying to get the engine hamster...
When EPA requirements caused the auto industry make cars shorter, narrower and especially lighter, people all said “The metal on cars used to be thicker and stronger. Cars lasted longer and were safer in collisions.” “You didn’t used to be able to make a dent in your car by standing on it.” “Old cars can’t be pushed in with your hand like all the new ones.” Also all glass in cars became thinner at one point, and that is still true today. However “luxury cars have thicker glass to enhance sound blocking.”-—several websites.
Idea: Maybe the dogs can vandalize a car because it is flimsy. Just wondering.
Not unusual.
Dog chases car.
Dog catches car.
Dog eats car.

Dog on right in dog language: “I hereby dedicate this car destruction to our brother Scout, a proud junkyard dog.”
Houston has a real problem with vicious stray dogs. Many of them just need to be put down. They are dangerous animals.
A feral dog can be dangerous. That much is true. The humane thing to do is catch them using traps then try to rehabilitate them. It’s not their fault they had to become feral to survive. In the end some will have to be put down but hopefully most will not.
You don’t know much about dogs or feral dogs to suggest they be killed out of hand. I can understand a rancher doing that when they go after the livestock but not city dogs. City dogs look for food in the trash or from the kindness of strangers.
Something else is going on with these dogs at the dealership. Rabies maybe.
Somebody trained them to do that.
That was my first thought as well.
When there’s no junkyard, you make one!
Oh sure, the new plastic garbage cans are built better than the steel sleds of the past. That’s the ticket.
