Let's kick this one off with a brief, current bio of (usually) liberal journalist Christiane Amanpour.
British-Iranian Amanpour is the Chief International Anchor for CNN and host of CNN International's nightly interview program "Amanpour." She is also the host of "Amanpour & Company" on PBS.
So, the juxtaposition of Amanpour, CNN, and PBS — yeah, PBS, as in who knew? —is why I chose to write this article.
In the aftermath of the radical Islamist group Hamas launching a brutal and unprecedented ISIS-like attack in Israel, during which, babies were reportedly murdered and other atrocities committed, Israel Defense Forces (IDF) launched a massive retaliatory strike in the Gaza Strip, which continues to escalate as I write.
Amanpour, whose reporting usually betrays no sympathy for Israel’s position in the Middle East, kicked off her latest broadcast by not only airing interviews of survivors and family members of kidnapped Israelis, but also with repeated condemnations of Hamas.
Remember that the "Amapour" show airs on both CNN International and taxpayer- and grant-funded PBS.

I saw a bit of her. She seemed totally supportive of Israel and ripped into Hamas. I was surprised. She interviewed a Jewish kid who got shot at that festival and she looked really emotional.
Did you read the article which you posted? Did you even read the headline???
She announced it just after the covid lockdowns, so it makes you wonder if the shot activated it.
What’s that saying about a broken clock
I think you misread it. For once, she stood up for Israel.
I have no use for her, but I hope she beats her cancer.
No one watches PBS. Sheesh
Did you even read the article about which you posted? I forgive you because it is about Amanpour, but she actually blamed Hamas and PBS edited it out. When the freaking hell are we going to stop funding PBS?? When we finally do, it will be a sign that Republicans finally grew some balls.
She’s married to a Jewish man.
I don’t have cable, but yesterday I was able to watch cable news at my daughter’s for a few hours while I babysat my grandson. I flipped back and forth between CNN, FoxNews and MSNBC. MSNBC was unwatchable. FoxNews was nearly as bad, being stuck on stupid RINOs and neocons. CNN was surprisingly the best although had plenty of room for improvement. The one thing I notice about all three networks is the made part of their stories about the reporters in Israel. I really do not care about staged jumping into ditches and panting reporters. Yeah, you can call me cynical.
“Amanpour is a dead woman walking. She has ovarian cancer.”
I did not know that. As much as I despise her politics, ovarian cancer is horrible. Treatable early but very seldom caught early. I wish her well.
Ovarin cancer has a high cure rate if caught early. If late, no so good. I am not a fan of her. I wish her full recovery and health.
When I was in Israel in ‘98, I saw this witch on CNN International.
You saw a completely different person who clearly hated Israel and the Jewish people.
I never trusted anything she said after that.
The world has now seen why Israel needs its wall with Gaza. How can anyone be stupid enough to still think that Israel “oppresses” the Arabs?
PBS - Pure Bull S**t
I never liked her, either, but I hope she beats cancer and turns her life to Christ.
“Amanpour is a dead woman walking. She has ovarian cancer.”
I do not like the woman, even if she was reporting accurately about Hamas. But i have lost three dear real women friends to ovarian cancer that was merciless, so i will pray for her.
Even Nora was in Israel getting an eyefull on SeeBS news. It had to be educational for at least some of the zombies
